A contemporary or late 20th century example of Australian outback aboriginal painting, unsigned, acrylic on canvas, 36 1/2" by 24 3/4" in white simple laminated framing, the subject two snakes arranged artistically on a dot matrix background. On the reverse is a stamp of "Maruku Arts and Crafts" and written on the overlap is "#979" and "Kakaw" or "Kakawi" or similar. Condition of painting is excellent, white frame shows some wear. A colorful work from the other side of the world. The painting is wired to hang vertically but I do not see why it could not hang horizontally should the new owner choose to do so; I have provided photos in both orientations.
