This hard back book was published in 1949. It was written by Mary Brooks Picken and published by Singer Sewing Machine Company. There are 244 pages filled with black and white illustrations, sketches, color photos of finished products a person might sew, etc. The text teaches everything one would want/need to know about one's sewing machine and about how to sew anything. This ring is adjustable in size. The carved picture piece is bezel-set and measures 5/8" x 3/8". It is a lovely depiction of a Hummingbird. The carving is in black, sprinkled with red on the head. It is signed by the artist. The setting is decorative and marked STERL. The shank is marked STER. SHANK. It is in excellent condition.

This lovely piece resembles both a flower and a butterfly. It measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". It has 4 petals, each with 4 clear rhinestone baguettes. the center is a prong set pearl. The back is marked STERLING. It is circa 1950s. There is some slight yellowing on a few rhinestones.

This ring is inlaid with Azur-malachite stone. It is a size 8. The stone inlay is very colorful and stands out nicely in its 1/4" sterling silver band. It is marked TAXCO MEXICO 925 (slightly rubbed out) in a circle with LMH in the center. It also has the assay mark with 3 inside and is in excellent condition.

This lovely ring is adjustable in size. It has a great, Taxco Mexico design. It features a sparkly, goldstone: bezel-set. It is marked and signed TAXCO MEXICO 925 in a circle with the silversmith's initials in the middle: APF. The other mark is the "spread eagle" assay mark with the number 3 in the middle. The stone is orange with several tiny gold sparkles. It is in excellent condition.

This lovely ring is adjustable in size. Its classic Taxco Mexico design is topped off with an onyx bezel-set stone in the center. It is marked TAXCO MEXICO 925 in a circle with the artist's initials in the middle APF. The other mark is the "spread eagle" assay with the number 3 in the middle. This great ring is excellent condition.

This gold tone brooch / pin is a great depiction of a large terrier, a Komondor, also known as Hungarian Komondor and/or Hungarian Sheepdog. I personally think it even looks like Sheepdog, a Wheaton Terrier, etc. It measures 1 1/8" from tail to snout x 1 1/8" tall. Regardless, it is in excellent condition and has a good heft. The back is marked NAPIER with the copyright symbol.

Here is the 1974 Sarah Coventry Limited Edition Partridge in a Pear Tree charm. It is the ever elusive charm from Coventry's Christmas charm Bracelet. It features the partridge sitting on a branch with 2 green glass pears. It is silvertone and has a diameter of 3/4". The back reads LIMITED EDITION 1974 and Sarah Coventry in script.

This ring displays a cast gold colored, brass metal with a brutalist, organic, openwork design. The band has a flower, foliate design and is adjustable (a characteristic of 1950's jewelry).

This band ring is 3/8" wide. It is a size 9. It has a nice oxidized background and patina. It is marked MEXICO MA and has the eagle / assay mark that is hard to make out. This piece is in excellent condition.

These earrings have a Modern American Studio look. They measure 5/8" x 1/2" x 1/4". The graduating, semi-circles exhibit the Studio style. They are c. 1960's and in excellent condition.

This cute, sterling silver pin / brooch is a Mexican cat character. He is wearing a bowtie and has abalone (like, fur) belly. It measures 1 1/4" x 1/2" The back is marked with the #3 Assay Mark. It is also marked TAXCO MEXICO, in a circle, with JRC .in the middle. It is in excellent condition.

This popular bracelet measures 7 1/2" long. It consists of oval links. The links are convex. Four of them are highlighted by Hope, Love, Believe and Peace. The back is marked 925 with a maker's mark. It is in excellent condition. FREE US STANDARD S/H

These earrings measure 1 1/2" x 1/2". They are slightly concave with bezel-set, lapis eyes. They are marked 925 and have a hallmark of a triangle with a circle inside (see pictures). They hang from a kidney wire / Shepherd's Hook / Fishhook (how appropriate). They are in excellent condition.

This neat bracelet has a curved design and is adjustable. It consists of bands of silver, copper and brass. It measures 1/2" wide. It is marked MEXICO.
