A grouping of 6 Native American Paleolithic tools from the Suwanee River-Withlacoochee Basin area, Northern Florida. ex. collection Mike Buhler, ex-collection Michael Cottingham, Texas. Chert, heights between 2" and 2 5/8". All in excellent and undamaged condition with rich patinas from being buried in marsh-like soil with high organic content. 4 of these tools are very skillfully worked scrapers with notches on flakes. 2, the first two to the left in the photo, are partial biface tools with extremely fine flaking. Lovely, gem-like quality to these tools. Dating to approximately 8000 BCE.
