A group of five Neolithic or Mesolithic blades from Germany. All are flint, in excellent condition with varying, glossy patinas. Lengths between 2 3/16" and 3 1/4". All legal surface finds from the Schleswig-Holstein state. Second from the right is from Kleiner Ploner See (Little Ploen Lake)- small island near the Koppelsberg Chapel. Small blade on the left is from the eastern peninsula of the Behler See (lake Behl). The remaining three blades are from the south shore of Lanker See (Lanker Lake). All are double edged flake blades, exhibiting fine retouches. Date to approximately 8000-3500 BCE.
