A group of four Native American paleolithic stone tools on flakes from the Suwanee River basin, northern Florida. Chert, in excellent condition, with varying river patinas. Ex. collection Michael Cottingham. Heights between 2" and 2 3/4". The larger white blade is a convergent scraper. The other three are fabulous examples of tool making- each with multiple scrapers, one with a notch, on beautifully executed, wafer thin flakes. Date to approx. 8000 BCE.
