A silver overlaid Buddha from Burma. These Buddhas were buried under the Stupas as an offering to the shrine. Size: H. 10cm. W. 6.5cm. Condition: Some flaking of the silver overlay. Original head has been re-attached back on.

A nice well formed etched silver elephant box from Burma. Age: Pre 1900 Size: H.6.6cm. W. 10cm. Condition. No repairs.

Antique green lacquer ware chest produced from a mixture of orpiment and indigo, both of which are found in the Shan region. Age: Late 19th early 20th century. Size: L. 22.4cm. W. 14cm. H. 7.7cm. Condition: Some minor touch-ups on the lid.

A 19th century "Yun" lacquered betel box with incised design. The box is divided into two pieces. The box is for betel leaves and lime, areca nuts, clove and other ingredients. Size: H. 7 cm. Diameter:11 cm. Condition: No repairs

A miniature form of a figure riding on a horse. The upper half is glazed in a dark chocolate brown glaze.

Period: Song (10th thru 13th Century) Size: 5.5 cm high

Condition: The left ear on the horse was broken and original ear reattached. (see photos) A small chip on the figure's face. Glaze in good condition and with normal aging.

A Britannia metal coffee pot made by E. Stacy & Son, successors to John Vickers, Britannia Place, Sheffield. See stamp on the bottom of the pot. Britannia metal is an alloy that was invented by John Vickers to replace the expensive pewter in 1745. Britannia metal gradually started to replace pewter from about 1780. Size: H. 26cm. W. 20cm. Condition: No repairs. Some dents in the metal. See photos.

A pair of translucent pale blue-green glass earrings. The glass is in the form of a medium-thick oval hoop that tapers at the ends. Can be made into a necklace. There is some soil encrustation on the surface from being buried.

Chinese Nyonya Ware plate with a foliated base painted with pomegranates, peaches and bats symbolizing fruitfulness, prosperity and happiness. Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nonya ware. Nyonya wares were mainly reserved for festive occasions and special functions. Size: L. 20cm. W. 14.2cm. H. 4.3cm...

Two rare well carved Pyu stone elephants. These are a type of micro carvings that the Pyu period is noted for. There are holes drilled in both of the elephants for stringing. Size: See last photo. Condition: No repairs or chips. Some encrustation still adhering to them from long burial that can be removed by soaking.

A unusual multi colored ancient glass earring from Southeast Asia most likely Cambodia. Can be used as a pendant. Age: 300 BC to 100 BC. Size: Outside diameter 3.8cm. Condition: Perfect. Some dirt incrustation from long burial.Can be cleaned by soaking in water.

A nice lacquered box with a painted mythical beast on the lid and a bird on the front panel. Under the outside bottom panel there is an inscription. Age: Early 20th century. Size: L. 30.6cm. W. 10.5cm H. 7.4cm. Condition: No repairs. Normal ageing.

A unusual and nicely made gilded relief dome cover Monk's alms bowl with glass inserts. Most of these types of bowls were made in Mandalay. Size: H. 19.2cm. W. 11cm. Condition: No repairs.

A pair of nicely formed hollow glazed pottery birds. Both have round plump figures and lots of character. The darker bird has two glazes - a brown splash of glaze that runs over a straw glaze. The lighter bird has a celadon colored glaze. The glaze on both birds have a very fine crackle.

Period: Tang (7th-10th Century)

Size: Both birds approximately 4.7 cm high.

A rear and beautiful yellow gemstone from the ancient Pyu Dynasty of Burma. I am not sure what stone it is of these three: sapphire, topaz or tourmaline.The chain is made up of individual handmade silver pieces. Condition: No chips.Some scratch marks seen under the microscope probanly from ancient polishing. Size: See photo.

Chinese red glass bead necklace and are most likely beads from a Qing official's necklace. Size: 38cm end to end.

A wooden carved Tibetan mask. The art of Tibetan masks can be classified into religious type and folk type. Exorcising masks were initially held to drive away ghosts and evil spirits. Later were used in local operas. Size: 27cm X 17cm.
