A rare crystal ring from the Pyu dynasty carved with a fish,the sea and a crescent moon. The fish is a early Buddhist symbol for incarnation carried over from Hinduism. In Hinduism, one of their symbols is a fish. One appeared as an avatar (incarnation or physical bodily manifestation) of Vishnu to save mankind from the Great Flood. The Fish (matsya) were originally symbolic of the rivers Ganges and Yamuna, but came to represent good fortune in general, for Hindus, Jain and Buddhists...

A gold ornament which looks like to me to be a warrior carrying a club. It's hard to date this piece, but looking at the patina on the gold I would say around 16th century.Found in Burma but could be from India. Size: 3cm x 2.5cm. Condition: No repairs.Some opening which are normal in old gold repousse work.

A very Large translucent pale blue-green glass earring from Southeast Asia, probably from Vietnam or Cambodia.The glass is in the form of a thick oval hoop that tapers at the ends. There is some soil encrustation on the ends from being buried. Size: Diameter 8cm. Condition: Perfect.

A small Burmese Buddha made of silver. Its form is simple, unadorned and its hand is in the earth-touching gesture. The face has a wide nose with connected eyebrows and has a quiet presence.

Period: Burmese, 16th Century

Size: Height = 5 cm., Width at base = 3.5 cm.

Condition: Normal wear due to its age. Has a nice patina.
