Set of 6 hand-painted, gilded Dresden cups & saucers by Richard Wehsener (each item individually hand-signed R. Wehsener, except 1 saucer). They were produced in the Wehsener Porcelain Company in Dresden, Germany and had a reputation for excellence in design. The beautifully lobed cups and scalloped saucers are exquisitely decorated with colorful hand-painted garlands of flowers and accents of gold on the handle, inner and outer rims. This delicate & elegant set was purchased from the venerable Spreckles Mansion in SF in 1979. Date: 1890’s Dresden Porcelain, signed R. Wehsener Sizes: Saucer diameter: 5-1/2 inches Cup height: 2 inches Condition: Excellent – no chips, no apparent wearing
