These 4 porcelain ramekins with under plates were produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges around 1900. The under plates are 4 5/8 inches in diameter and the cups are 3 3/4 inches in diameter. Both pieces have scalloped edges with double gold trim. The cups are molded with ribs giving them a flower shape. Both pieces are decorated with a transfer design of trailing vines and delicate pastel colored flowers. The cups are decorated inside and out. They have the sweetness of spring in their subtle design. Condition: Excellent

These 5 ceramic cups and saucers were produced in France by Creil, c.1820. The factory was founded in 1797 and continues today. The Victoria & Albert Museum has examples of Creil cream ware on exhibit. The saucers measure 4 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep. They would be a coffee size. The cups are 2 1/4 inches high. They have an ivory hue to the ceramic. They are decorated with factory transfers in black creating a striking contrast. The decorations have astrological significance. There are portraits of Greek Gods and Goddesses representing the seasons on the front of each cup. Landscapes decorate the interiors of the saucers. These cups and saucers are quite rare and desirable. Condition: One cup has a minor chip on the rim. The other pieces are in excellent condition.

This set of 6 crystal wine glasses was produced in the United States by one of the fine manufacturers in the 1890s. They are not signed; therefore we are unable to identify them precisely. They are 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The crystal is hand blown with bright clarity. The stems are hollow with a teardrop. The cutting is very intricate with hob stars and cross hatching. The foot has a star burst. They have a bell-like ring and just sparkle in the light. Condition: Excellent

This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Manufactory between 1830 and 1840. They have a diameter of 8 3/4 inches. The plates have a reticulated rim with molded flowers and decoration in the porcelain. Each plate is hand painted with a Watteau scene depicting lovers in landscape settings. The painting is very fine, with minute detail and vivid colors. The quality of the workmanship is similar to that of Meissen. The borders and rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Two of the plates have sizable chips on the foot ring on the back of the plates. This would not affect use or display.

Birbeck, renowned porcelain painter who worked for many English factories during the 19th and 20th centuries. They measure 9 1/4 inches in diameter. Each plate features a realistically hand painted fish that is named on the back of the plate. The colors are bright and the painting is incredibly detailed. They are wonderful for use or display. These 6 porcelain plates were produced in England by Coalport in 1818. There are no markings on any of these plates but the pattern with the embossed design is documented to have come from Coalport. The plates measure 7 1/2 inches in diameter. They are made of fine, hard paste porcelain. The plates have embossed floral decoration in high relief. These flowers are outlined with gold. The border is cobalt blue. There are reserves with colorful hand painted flowers framed with fancy gold trim. There is a lovely bouquet of flowers in the center of each plate, all of them different. Gold accents are found throughout the decoration and there is a dentil gold trim on the rims. Condition: There is very minor wear to some of the gilding, mostly to the trim on the rims of these plates. You have to look hard to find it. As these plates are nearly 200 years old it is lovely find them in quite excellent condition.

These porcelain soup cups and saucers were produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between 1888 and 1896. They were produced especially for the high end retailer Davis, Collamore & Co. of New York. The saucers have a diameter of 5 ½ inches. The cups are 2 ¼ inches high, the opening diameter is 3 2/4 inches and they are 5 ½ inches from handle to handle. The cups have a scalloped pedestal base, are quatrefoil in shape and have molded texture to the porcelain. The saucers have the same features. With all of this, the porcelain itself, is amazingly thin. The lower portion of the cup and inner portion of the saucer have garlands of tiny pink roses around them. The borders are the lovely “celeste blue” which was used by the Sevres factory and Minton. Gold drapery accented with tiny gold flowers divides the blue sections and the white. Delicate gilding trims the inner rim of the cups. The handles and rims are trimmed with gold. This set of Haviland is a special work of art. Condition: Excellent

This set of 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers was produced in France by Haviland Limoges around 1910. The saucers are 4 3/8 inches in diameter. The cups are 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/8 inches. Notice the graceful shape of the handle. The decoration is high quality. Borders of raised gilded rosettes encircle each piece. The cup has exquisitely delicate gilding just inside the rim of the cup. Even the foot rings of the cups and saucers are heavily gilded. The Haviland mark is in gold. This set is truly special. Condition: Excellent, without defects of any kind.

This set of 6 cut crystal cordial glasses were produced in Bohemia by Moser in the late 19th century. The glasses measure 3 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 3/4 inches. The glasses are hand cut and have panels of amber glass in panels around the outside. Vermicelli gilding covers the rest of the surface of the glasses. The scalloped foot of each glass is cut with a star. Condition: There is wear to the gilded surfaces from use.

This set of 6 porcelain pot de crèmes, or hot chocolate cups, was produced in France before 1870. They are unmarked as much of Paris porcelain is. They are 4 1/2 inches high and have a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The lids have a flower bud molded into the porcelain which serves as the finial. They are made of fine hard paste porcelain. They are hand painted with tiny flower sprigs and one larger flower on the front of the cup. Each cup has a different flower. There is heavy gold trim and little gilded flowers scattered around each piece. Condition: There is wear to the gilding on some of the cups where the lid sits. There is slight wear on some of the gilded flowers. With Paris porcelain this is often the case. They are in very good condition for their age and it is quite rare to find a matching set of 6.

This set of porcelain luncheon plates was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1901. There are date ciphers that indicate this date. The plates were made for the retailer Cowell & Hubbard of Cleveland. The plates measure 8 inches square. They have wide ruby red borders with an adjoining 1 3/4 inch area of ivory colored ground. These two areas are overlaid with elaborate raised gold decorations. In the center of each plate is a reserve that is 3 inches in diameter containing realistic floral bouquets. They are hand painted in vivid colors. All of these reserves are different and all are signed by the artist S. Stanley. The rims of each plate are trimmed with heavy gold. This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in Germany by the Carl Thieme Dresden Factory in the 1890s. The plates measure 8 1/4 inches in diameter. They have a reticulated border measuring about 1 1/4 inches with tiny blue and gold raised rosettes. Vividly colored floral sprays and a ring of flowers decorated the centers of each plate. There are gilded accents and trim around the borders. The little rosettes around the border make these plates special. Condition: There are a couple of minor spots of stacking wear on the rings of flowers. They are otherwise in excellent condition.
