This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 6 inches. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. The set is made of fine hard paste porcelain that has a molded basket weave border. It is expertly hand painted in shades of burgundy red. There are sprays of various flowers and flower buds scattered around. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. This cup will provide a most satisfying serving of your favorite tea or coffee.

This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1950s. The modeler’s name, K. Tutter, is impressed into the base. The figurine is 7 inches tall and 6 inches wide. Tutter’s work is recognizable by his attention to detail and the sweet faces he gives to his subjects. This pair of parakeets look so adorable together. The yellow parakeet is grooming the blue one. They are so life-like and actually life size. The coloring is brilliant and realistic. They are perched on a tree branch with applied porcelain leaves. They are looking for a new home and promise not to eat too much.

This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. They are marked with first quality blue crossed swords markings. The plates are 8 inches in diameter. There are reticulated borders with three reserve. The centers are hand painted with colorful, realistic fruits of all kinds. They have attracted tiny insects and butterflies. There are flower sprigs or berries in the reserves around the borders. All of the reticulated work is accented with gilding. The reserves are framed in elegant gilding. The rims are heavily gilded. The marks vary from 1910 to 1920s. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ½” and the cup is 2” high with a diameter of 2 ¼”. The ground color is deep rose. There is a cartouche on the front of the cup containing beautifully hand painted flowers. They are done with fine detail and vivid colors. They are framed in elegant hand gilding. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent, first quality, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no wear.

This porcelain tea cup, saucer and dessert plate was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1898. The date cipher indicates this year. The plate is 6 3/4 inches in diameter. The saucer is 5 3/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/8 inches. The set is made of fine, white bone china that is highly translucent. The ground color is blush, shading from light peach to beige. The hand enameled decoration of chrysanthemums and foliage is done in high relief and enamel coloring. The chrysanthemum blooms are nearly encrusted. It is amazing to run your fingers across them, feeling the petals. The edges of each piece are raised scrolls painted light olive green. These scrolls are highlighted with gold. This pattern was a very successful combination of texture, colors and design. It would be a prized possession for any collector. Condition: There is slight crazing on the cup only seen with magnification.

The hand painted scene in the center features a Grecian woman in flowing robes surrounded by flowers, arranging some of them in an urn. The colors are soft pastels. Light permeates the scene. The beautiful woman seems to blend in with the atmosphere around her like an impressionistic water color painting. The cream colored border around the plate has ornate raised and beaded gold. Condition: Excellent

There is writing in German, “Gesnng u Spiel” or “Singing and Play”. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches. The cup is 3 1/8 inches tall, without the handle with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The ground color and border on the cup are deep cobalt blue. The cup has a panoramic scene of young children enjoying various activities. They are playing musical instruments, playing cards and singing. They are painted in fine detail with bright colors on a gold background. The borders are trimmed with intricate gilding in the Royal Vienna tradition. The saucer is embellished with elaborate, raised gilding. There is a lion’s face on the handle. This is a delightful depiction of children in the early 19th century. Condition: But for a tiny bit of wear in the well of the saucer, this set is excellent.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by a Dresden decorator. We believe that it was made by Donath Dresden because it is marked in red and the coloring and style are similar to others we have had. There is an artist’s signature in the lower right corner of the portrait which may be Wagner. The cup is marked Madame Montesson, wife of King Louis the XV. The saucer is 4 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 7/8 inches tall with a diameter of 1 7/8 inches. The cup is can shaped and the form is simple. The front of the cup has a reserve with the hand painted portrait of this beauty from the 18th century. The portrait is hand painted with fine detail and rich coloring. It is surrounded with a shiny, beaded and raised gold frame. The body of the cup and saucer are colored with an iridescent paint that shades from deep green to purple, depending on the light. The sides of the cup are elaborately gilded with raised and beaded gilding. The saucer has beaded gold trim and a gilded medallion the center of the well. Even the bottom of the saucer has gilded accents. This is a demitasse cup and saucer of the finest quality, done in the Royal Vienna tradition, that is a true work of art. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain vase was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1900. The date markings indicate this year. It is noted that this vase has a “leadless glaze” with #2226. The vase is 5 3/4 inches tall. It is 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest point. The ground color is cobalt blue. It is hand decorated with raised white enamel. An intricate pattern of chrysanthemums and foliage fill the surface of the front of the vase. There is one blossom on the back. The French enamel has a lacy, ethereal effect, almost like snowflakes. It is interesting to feel the texture of the hand enameling. It took a lot of talent and patience to create this marvelous vase. The foot and rim is trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain vases was produced in Austria in the 1890s. They have a beehive marking painted over the glaze. They are 8 5/8 inches tall. The diameter at the widest point is 4 inches. The form of the vases has a classic, clean silhouette. But the tour de force is the jeweled decoration. Raised enamel beads or jewels imitating sapphires, opals, amethysts, and rainbow quartz accent and drape around each vase. There are garlands of tiny pink roses and tiny gilded rosettes. A gold medallion with gilded ribbons contains pink roses encircled in pearl-like beads. The neck of the vase has an intricate raised gold pattern that covers the entire surface. It is difficult to name all the details, there are so many. And yet, they are totally elegant on a pristine, white ground. What a joy to find a matching pair. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain vase was produced in France at the Sevres Manufacture Nationale in 1902. It is double marked with first quality markings and artist signed by Henri-Joseph Lasserre. Lassarre worked for Sevres from 1883 to 1930. The vase is 9 3/4 inches tall. It is 5 inches in diameter at the widest point. Two thirds of the vase is cobalt blue. Baskets of stylized marigold colored flowers, branches of steel blueberries fanning out on gold stems, and garlands of roses and foliage cover the cobalt blue ground. A gold cord with a tassel joins the decoration together. It is a very festive vase with bright colors and bold design. The style is timeless and the quality unsurpassed. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain vase was produced in France by Sevres Manufacture Nationale in 1915. It has the double markings, under glaze and over glaze in first quality. The vase is 12 3/4 inches tall. It is 5 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest point. The vase has a graceful form, with pedestal base and wide opening at the top. It is colored cobalt blue, accented with gilded stars. There is gold trim on the opening and foot. It has a high gloss glaze with a mirror finish. This vase is splendid in its simplicity. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden Studio around 1900. It is 8 7/8 inches tall and 3 inches across the handles. The ground color is iridescent aquamarine. The front of the vase has a reserve of young girl from the 19th century. The portrait is framed with shiny gold. The remainder of the vase has ornate raised gold swags, ribbons and trophy objects. There are two little handles at the top. It is an elegant piece with wonderful detail. Condition: There is a tiny shallow chip that is about 1/8 of an inch and hardly noticeable shown in last photo.

This porcelain bowl was produced inParis, France by Bourdois and Bloch around 1868. Eugene Clauss started this porcelain factory in 1828. The bowl measures 12 1/4” long,8 1/8 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is heavily reticulated and has scalloped edges. It has a pedestal base giving the shape another level. It is elaborately hand decorated inside and outside. There are gilded cartouches in five areas inside and four places on the outside. Colorful sprays of flowers are framed by shiny gilding. The remaining surfaces are covered with tiny flower sprigs, all meticulously hand painted. The design is mesmerizing. The inside rim has a border of fancy scrolled gilding. This is an exciting piece of porcelain you won’t be able to take your eyes off.

This porcelain platter was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the 1880s. It is unusual to find an under glaze mark indicating this to be an earlier piece. It measures 14 1/2” long, 11” wide and 1 1/4” deep. The border is deep, cobalt blue. The center has a scene of people boarding sailing vessels. The coloring suggests that it evening. It is hand painted with similarities to some pieces done at Meissen. There is elegant hand gilding and trim on the cobalt boarder. This is a piece meant to be displayed as a work of art. Condition: Slight wear to gilded trim on edge.

This porcelain charger was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the 1890s. It is 15” in diameter and 2” deep. It is molded in high relief with rococo decoration and framing the five reserves. The center of the piece has a hand painted of scene of people who have just landed on shore at dusk and setting up camp. There are ships' sails in the background. Four reserves in the border contain colorful hand painted flowers. There are gilded highlights and trim. This is an intricate and colorful piece for decoration. Condition: Small shallow scratch in paint but otherwise is excellent condition.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. Both pieces have the first quality crossed swords markings under glaze. The saucer is 4 1/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches The cup has a split branch handle. The borders are slightly scalloped with points at intervals. These flowers are beautifully hand painted with a unique variation. The stems and leaves are done in gold leaf. There are gilded accents on the handle and the rims have dentil gold. CONDITION: Excellent first quality.
