This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and is 7/8 of and inch high. The cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The style of decoration is reminiscent of work done at the Sevres factory. The ground color is cobalt blue. Elaborate raised gilding in two-color gold is augmented with hand enameling. The interior rim of the cup has embossed gilding. The handle has raised gold work and there is beaded gold trim on both pieces. The contrast of all of this rich gilding against the cobalt blue ground is highly unusual and quite spectacular. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ½ inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The porcelain is fine, white, hard paste. There is a hand painted scene on the front of the cup with colorful exotic birds. The saucer has little insects scattered about. There is lacy gold trim around the rims of each piece. CONDITION: Excellent, first quality

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany around 1900. It is marked with WK Dresden Made in Saxony. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cup is 1 3/4 inches high. The set has an unusual shape with multiple panels. Floral panels alternate with scenic ones. The scenes with figures are colorfully hand painted. The floral panels have bright bouquets with gold backgrounds. There is lacy gold trim and tiny floral buds dotting the interior of the cup. This cup and saucer has fantastic detail and uncommon beauty. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Doulton around 1900. It was a special order for the department store, J.E. Caldwell & Co. of Philadelphia. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. It is made of fine, white bone china. The name of the garden is “Hampton Court”. The scenes are hand painted with vibrant colors. It is signed by the artist, J. Price. A band of embossed gilding frames both pieces. Enjoy drinking your demitasse coffee with happy thoughts of summer. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain vase was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. It is 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. It is flask shaped and has two handles at the neck. The ground color is cobalt blue. There is a group of herons painted in silver on the front of the vase. A single bird is on the back. Elaborate raised gilded accents surround the birds, encircle the neck and foot of the vase. The fine detail and aesthetic style will charm you. Condition: There is light crazing on the white bottom of the vase.

This porcelain covered vase was produced in Germany at Nymphenburg in the 1890s. It is 7 1/4 inches high. The shape is Asian in style. The decoration is beautifully hand painted with delicate vines of tiny flowers entwined around strands of ribbon. The colors are vivid and there are accents of gold in the design. The rims have gold trim. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Demartine Limoges around 1891. It was made especially for Tiffany of New York. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The porcelain is thin and translucent. The ground color is taupe, a combination of dark brown and gray. Both pieces are elaborately hand painted with arabesques that are accented with blue flowers and orange berries. The whole design is textured from the raised enameling and gilding. There is trim of gold and silver at the edges and around the well of the saucer. The entire surface of the ground color has a pattern of minute gold dots covering it. There is dental gold trim on the rims and the handle is sculpted gold. This demitasse cup and saucer is an extraordinary artistic accomplishment in the style Tiffany was famous for. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain candle holders was produced in Germany by Schierholz & Son in the 1890s. They are 6 3/4 inches high. Under the candle holder and bobesch is the head and wings of a cherub in three dimensions. Their sweet little faces are beautifully modeled and hand painted. The trunks of the candle holders have bunches of tiny blue and pink flowers sprouting from them. The bottoms of the holders end in a tripod effect. Brushed gold is used to accent the candle holders in many areas. They are so delicate and delightful. Condition: There are just a few tiny sprigs of flowers missing. For such a fragile item, this is quite amazing.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in 1909. It has an impressed date code indicating this year. The porcelain blank is molded with a basket weave border and the area where the handle is attached on the cup has raised flowers. The ground color is ivory with a hint of iridescence. Little blue flowers are attached to finely gilded, vine-like tendrils. All of the hand painting is ultra-delicate, with precision detail. The handle is decorated to look like a branch. The rims are gilded. This is a fine example of workmanship that is highly prized from the craftsmen of the KPM factory. Condition: Excellent, first quality, without defects of any kind.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Brown, Westhead & Moore in the 1890s. It was produced just at the time the company name was changing to Cauldon, so both names are on the back stamp. The painting is signed by the renowned artist Anton Boullemiere. The plate has a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. It is made of fine, white bone china. The rim has a molded, rococo border. The plate has molded ridges radiating out towards the rim. The ground color is cream with a high gloss glaze. In the center of the plate is a raised, gilded cartouche with the portrait of a little girl inside. She has curly flowing hair and a sweet face. This artist had worked for Mintons and Coalport as well as other fine porcelain manufacturers. This is a beautiful work of art. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain vase on stand was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1878. The date letter indicates this year. It vase stands 5 7/8” high and is 5 ¾” across the handles. The piece appears to be in two pieces, the bowl on the top and a stand on the bottom but is it made in one piece. The Asian inspired shape and design evolved from the Aesthetic movement. Friezes of gilded peonies and a gilded bird in flight, surrounded by flowering branches decorate each side of the bowl. The base has bronze-like accents to the feet. Worcester styled this piece after ancient Chinese bronze objects and turned it into a unique porcelain creation. Condition: There is light wear to gilding on base.

This porcelain slipper was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It measures approximately 6 1/4 inches long and 2 inches wide. The porcelain is modeled in the shape of a slipper with a fold in the heel. The decoration is hand painted in cobalt blue and gold. It has an elaborate design of stylized birds and flowers that are reminiscent of Persian style. There is gold trim around the rim of the slipper. Condition is excellent.

This porcelain bell was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1890s. It has the authentic underglaze crossed swords marking. The bell measures 4 1/4 inches high and has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. It is hand painted with the Tischenmuster (table pattern) design. The design is an Asian inspiration. The decoration is very colorful and has abundant gilded accents. The bell retains its original wooden clapper and this bell rings with a lovely tone. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

This porcelain figure or bust was produced in France by Vion & Baury in the 1870s. This piece is signed with impressed letters EB, Paris and a signature S. Kinsburger. The bisque figure is 7 ½ inches high and 4 ½ inches wide. The bust depicts a charming young maiden with a love letter tucked into her clothing. She is dressed in a frilly cap with polka dots. Her embroidered bodice is intricately hand painted and a row of gilded buttons accent it. Puffed sleeves with polka dots match her cap. There is a corsage of roses on her shoulder. The artist captured a portrait of a sweet, demure maiden in a moment of anticipation frozen in time and bisque porcelain. Condition: Excellent

These two porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Royal Berlin KPM Manufactory c. 1870. They measure 9 inches in diameter. The borders have an intricate reticulated rim. There are ribs molded in the porcelain toward the middle of the plate. It is completely hand painted in a pattern reminiscent of Meissen’s Blue Onion. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany at the Carl Thieme Dresden Studio in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of fine, translucent porcelain. The cup features 3 lion’s paw feet. The set is beautifully hand painted with vibrant colors. The couples dressed in 18th century costumes enjoy the garden landscapes in various activities. There are lovely sprays of realistic flowers between the scenes. Delicate filigree gilding trims the rims of both pieces. The handle and feet are accented with gold. Condition: There is a slight touch of wear to the gilding on the rim of the cup that is hardly noticeable. It is in otherwise excellent condition.

This chrome and wood kettle on a stand was produced in Meridan, Connecticut by Manning and Bowman with a patent date of 1904. The kettle and stand together are 12 1/2 inches high. The kettle, from spout to end is 11 inches. The kettle has a rosewood handle and knob. There is a rosewood fitting in the base of the stand which holds an alcohol burner to keep the kettle hot. The paper label from the manufacturer is still intact. It is designed with clean lines in the style of the arts and crafts period. Condition: There is a tiny nick on the edge of the wood base which holds the burner. One screw is missing from the base. There are no other defects. Classic style and functionality combine to create a handsome piece for use or display.

This set of 6 cut crystal cordial glasses were produced in Bohemia by Moser in the late 19th century. The glasses measure 3 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 3/4 inches. The glasses are hand cut and have panels of amber glass in panels around the outside. Vermicelli gilding covers the rest of the surface of the glasses. The scalloped foot of each glass is cut with a star. Condition: There is wear to the gilded surfaces from use.
