This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory or KPM in 1913. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 3 1/2 inches high, not counting the handle. The cup features a pedestal base and an upswept handle. Both pieces have periwinkle blue bands around the borders. There is a gilded wreath containing hand painted daisies on the front of the cup. There is fancy gilding and gold trim in several areas. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in France around 1810. There are no markings on either of the pieces. It could have been made by one of the numerous porcelain manufacturers in the Paris vicinity at that period. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 3 3/8 inches high, excluding the handle. The porcelain is heavy and substantial. The decoration is hand painted. Stylized ornaments, including a cornucopia and swans, decorate the sides of the cup. The central decoration on the cup is a gilded medallion of a lion encircled in a laurel wreath. The gilding is finely etched. The saucer has hand painted instruments and trophy objects. Three quarters of the interior of the cup is gilded. The handle and the rims are trimmed with bright gilding. This cup and saucer is a wonderful example of the French Neo-Classical style. Condition: The well of the saucer has minor wear to the gilding.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. It measures 10 inches in diameter. The artist’s initials are on the back. The plate has twelve sides and has molded beading in the porcelain around the edge. It has a hand painted scene in the center. There is a hen and a rooster among a field of wild flowers. It is styled in the art nouveau fashion. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in 1914. It was produced in their Dresden hand painting division. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/8 inches and the cup is 1 ¾ inches high. The cup has an unusual shape with a pedestal base and a hexagonal shape (6 sided). The ground color is deep cobalt blue. There is a reserve on the front of the cup containing a hand painted scene. There is a winged cherub and a fairy. The cherub is writing on a tablet. They are both sitting on a cloud. The scene is surrounded by elaborate hand gilding that is raised and beaded. The saucer has matching gilding and just one little flower in the well. The interior of the cup, handle and rims are trimmed with rich gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It has first class under glaze blue crossed swords marks. The saucer is 4 1/4 inches in diameter and is 7/8 of an inch deep. The cup is 2 inches high with a diameter of 2 inches. The cup is can shaped with a squared handle. The saucer is deep, without a well. Both pieces are expertly hand painted with sprays of garden variety flowers you will recognize. The colors are bright and eye catching. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent, first quality, without defects of any kind.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by KPM in 1918. It has a diameter of 8 inches. There is an artist’s monogram on the back. The porcelain is molded with a wavy edge. The center of the plate has a hand painted scene of a wintry landscape. The trees are painted in excellent detail. It captures the beauty of the season. The plate has some gilded accents. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain and sterling silver tea pot was produced in Trenton, New Jersey by Lenox around 1906. The pot measures 9 ½” from handle to spout and 6 ¼” high including the lid. The lid locks into the pot. The photos show the porcelain being a bit off white, but it is actually more ivory colored, more so than the average Lenox piece. It has the letter “S” engraved into the plaque on one side. The silver overlay is finely engraved. Some of the silver overlay looks like a trellis and there are charming bows accenting the design. The pot appears to be transitional piece from art nouveau into the art deco period. It is fine quality and high style.

This porcelain vase was produced in England by Copeland in the mid-19th century. It has the name Copeland impressed in the porcelain. The vase is 9 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is fine, white bone china with a high gloss glaze. The vase is trumpet shaped with high relief decoration of trees and branches. There are three dolphins supporting the vase in the center. It is all supported on a triangular base of three feet. The rim of the vase and the base are accented with red enamel and gold. The beauty of this vase is its simplicity and form. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany at the Carl Thieme Dresden Studio in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of fine, translucent porcelain. The cup features 3 lion’s paw feet. The set is beautifully hand painted with vibrant colors. The couples dressed in 18th century costumes enjoy the garden landscapes in various activities. There are lovely sprays of realistic flowers between the scenes. Delicate filigree gilding trims the rims of both pieces. The handle and feet are accented with gold. Condition: There is a slight touch of wear to the gilding on the rim of the cup that is hardly noticeable. It is otherwise in excellent condition.

This pair of crystal compotes was made in England by Stevens & Williams around 1900. They measure 6 inches tall and the openings have a diameter of 5 3/4 inches. They are hand blown from clear crystal that varies from thicker areas to very thin. This type of crystal is often referred to as “rock crystal.” It imitated the mineral stone used by the Chinese. The bowls are expertly hand engraved and polished with ribbons and wreaths. There is a feather-like pattern at the bottom of the bowl that is thicker and somewhat puffy. Condition: Excellent. How wonderful it is that this delicate pair has survived undamaged to this day.

This porcelain pitcher was produced in England in the late 19th century. It is not marked but the type of porcelain and the style are indicative of Grainger Worcester. It measures 7 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the base is 3 1/2 inches. The porcelain has a high gloss glaze giving it an almost glass like finish. The ground color is salmon pink. It is decorated with a high relief frieze of classical Grecian figures. The handle is created with the face and horns of a satyr. This is a unique and authentic antique porcelain. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain ink well with tray was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. There is an impressed Nymphenburg shield mark on the bottom of the tray. The tray measures 8 3/4 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide. The ink wells are attached to the tray but have separate lids and inserts. The tray is hand painted with vividly colored flowers and little sprigs. This decoration is also used on the lids and ink wells. There are several areas with gilded accents and there is gold trim on the rims. Condition: Excellent

This ceramic box with brass mounts was produced in France by Gien around 1875. It is 6 1/2 inches high and has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches. The ceramic is soft paste with a tin glaze similar to majolica. If you run your fingers around the piece, you can actually feel the enamel painting. It is richly decorated with cherubs, fountains, and ornate scrolls, all on a cobalt blue background. The designs are all hand painted. There is a piece of fruit for the finial on the top of the lid. The bottom has a brass mount with lion's paws and the lid is hinged. Condition: The bottom inside rim has been restored. There are no other defects.

This pair of porcelain bottles with stoppers was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the late 19th century. They are 5 inches high, including the stoppers. The porcelain bodies have flowers and scallops molded into them. They are hand painted with buttercup flowers and foliage. There is a blue butterfly on each bottle. The molded decorations are accented with gold. It is wonderful to find a matched pair after so many generations. Condition: Excellent

This two piece porcelain bowl with underplate was produced in the United States by Pickard around 1910. The underplate has a diameter of 10 1/8 inches and the bowl is 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 3 1/8 inches high. There is a gold leaf covering the mark from the porcelain manufacturer with the Pickard mark on it. The set is octagonal shaped. It is hand painted with delicate pink roses and gilded flourishes. There is embossed gold trim on each piece. Condition: There is a slight bit of wear to the gilding on three points on the rim of the bowl. They are hardly noticeable.

This porcelain basket was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. It is marked with an under glaze cobalt blue crown and shield. The basket measures 9 1/4 inches across the handles, 6 1/2 inches wide and is 2 3/4 inches deep. It features entwined handles and delicate reticulation. The interior of the basket is beautifully hand painted with colorful flowers. All of the reticulation is outlined in gold inside and out. It is a sweet and fragile reminder of by-gone eras.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by a Paris decorator around 1870 or earlier. The saucer has a diameter of 5 ½ inches and the cup is 1 ¾ inches high. The ground color of this set is deep cobalt blue. The cup has a reserve on the front with a Watteau scene of lovers in a garden. There are two scenes of landscapes on the saucer. Ornate gilded cartouches frame these scenes. It is very similar to work done at the Sevres factory and even the handle is the same style. CONDITION; Excellent
