This porcelain place card holder was produced in Italy by Capodimonte in the late 19th century. It is 3 3/4 inches high and 2 1/2 inches wide. The back is molded like branches into a tripod. The front has naked putti in high relief, making mischief. They are hand painted. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain two piece stamp box was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt in the 1890s. The box is 4 1/4 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches high, including the handle. The box has the artist’s initials on the bottom. The porcelain blank was sold white ware and decorated by a studio artist. There are three compartments inside the box to hold stamps. The ground color shades from mint green to almost white. There are vibrantly colored roses tumbling across the top of the box. The handle is gilded. This is an unusual and rare object, of interest to collectors of Limoges porcelain. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1891. The date cipher indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of translucent bone china. The cup has a puffy, quatrefoil shape with a handle that looks like rope. The set is decorated with an Imari type pattern taken from the Japanese. Cobalt blue and rust colored red are the main colors in the floral and geometric design. Much gold is used in the decoration and trim. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It has no identifying marks. The quality of the porcelain and the style of decoration could be either German or French. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The cup features a figural handle in the shape of a butterfly. Each piece has a transfer decoration that is colored by hand. They are autumn colored leaves with berries. The butterfly has gilded accents and the rims are trimmed with gold. These cups and saucers with butterfly handles are uncommon and quite desirable. Condition: The rim on the saucer has light wear. There are no other defects.

This porcelain plate was produced in France by William Guerin Limoges in 1900. It has a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. The foot ring on the back of the plate is trimmed with gold. This is often an indication that the particular item was exclusive in its production. The plate has an under glaze green mark and an over glaze gold mark indicating that the porcelain and the decoration are both from the factory. In addition, there is an artist’s signature on the front of the plate. It has a 1 3/4 inch cobalt blue border richly decorated with elaborate raised gilding. The portrait is of a young woman seemingly in contemplation. She is serene in her simplicity. Condition: Excellent

These 4 porcelain figurines were produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. They have the impressed shield of Nymphenburg in the base of each piece. The tallest of the figures is 7 1/4 inches high to the shortest one which measures 6 1/2 inches high. They are made of fine white hard paste porcelain with a high gloss glaze. The cherubs are executed in blanc de chine and are very similar to figures produced by Meissen. Each cherub is modeled in fine detail, with attention given to definition of fingers, facial features, the chubby little bodies and the folds in the drapery. Each cherub is engaged in some activity. There appears to be some meaning to each one. Perhaps they represent the months of the year. They are standing on molded pedestals. Condition: Excellent

This pair of crystal compotes was made in England by Stevens & Williams around 1900. They measure 6 inches tall and the openings have a diameter of 5 3/4 inches. They are hand blown from clear crystal that varies from thicker areas to very thin. This type of crystal is often referred to as “rock crystal.” It imitated the mineral stone used by the Chinese. The bowls are expertly hand engraved and polished with ribbons and wreaths. There is a feather-like pattern at the bottom of the bowl that is thicker and somewhat puffy. Condition: Excellent. How wonderful it is that this delicate pair has survived undamaged to this day.

This crystal and silver overlay vase was produced in the USA by Mathews Company of Newark, New Jersey, around 1907. There is a hallmark from this company and the silver content, 999/1000 is stamped on the foot. The vase is 14 inches tall and the opening has a diameter of 3 5/8 inches. The hand blown crystal is emerald green. It is decorated with elaborate silver overlay. There are large poppies on four sides, surrounded by flowing foliage in the loveliest art nouveau fashion. This decoration is finely engraved. There are wide bands of silver on the rim and near the middle. The stem and foot are entirely covered with silver. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tray was produced in France by Haviland Limoges around 1900. We believe that the porcelain blank was sold white ware to a decorator who hand painted it. The tray measures 11 1/8 inches long and 8 3/4 inches wide. The porcelain blank has a scalloped edge. The ground color blends from deep green, to teal green to yellow. There are raspberry vines trailing across the tray. The flowers, berries and foliage are professionally painted. The colors are bright and vivid. The rim is trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent.

This two piece porcelain bowl with underplate was produced in the United States by Pickard around 1910. The underplate has a diameter of 10 1/8 inches and the bowl is 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 3 1/8 inches high. There is a gold leaf covering the mark from the porcelain manufacturer with the Pickard mark on it. The set is octagonal shaped. It is hand painted with delicate pink roses and gilded flourishes. There is embossed gold trim on each piece. Condition: There is a slight bit of wear to the gilding on three points on the rim of the bowl. They are hardly noticeable.

This porcelain plate was produced in Limbach Germany, by Gotthelf Greiner between 1772 and 1787. It has an under glaze blue mark with a star. The plate has a diameter of 9 inches. It is indented about 1/2 inch toward the middle making it deep in the center. The border of 1 1/2 inches is reticulated or pierced. The piercing was done with a knife by hand. You can see the irregularities in this difficult hand work with magnification. This plate has magnificent hand painting of lovers in a garden. It is done with miniscule brush strokes in the style of Meissen. Single flower buds and insects dot the outer edge. This is a fine example of antique German porcelain of museum quality. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by KPM Royal Berlin in the late 19th century. It has the blue scepter and red orb on the back. It measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The porcelain is molded with a basket weave border and curved ribs. Pink wild roses decorate the center of the plate. The painting is the excellent quality KPM is noted for. The border is cream colored with lacy gilded accents. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain serving dish was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in 1918. The porcelain was made at the KPM Royal Berlin factory and hand painted by Hutschenreuther. There are marks from both of the factories on the bottom. The dish is 17 1/4 inches long, 6 1/4 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high at the handle. The dish has a handle and is separated into two sections. The porcelain is masterfully sculpted with ornamental elements that look like gilded bronze. The insides of the two sections have hand painted flowers done in the style of Meissen. The flowers are realistic and colorful. All of the rims are trimmed with heavy gilding. This is a unique and beautifully crafted porcelain not often found. Condition: Excellent

This set of 8 porcelain bouillon cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Wolfsohn Dresden in the late 19th century. The porcelain blanks were made by the Ohme Factory in Silesia, Germany and sold white ware to the Wolfsohn factory for decoration. The porcelain blanks are extremely delicate and translucent. They have a swirl pattern molded into them with the saucers being scalloped on the rims. The cups have two handles. The decoration is all hand painted. There are tendrils of flowers alternating with yellow panels. All of the panels are outlined with gold and there are lacy gilded borders in a number of places including inside the rim of the cup. A gilded medallion is in the center of each saucer. These bouillon cups and saucers are a delightful confection for display or use. Condition: Excellent

These plates were produced in Germany by KPM Royal Berlin Manufactory before 1920. They are 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The porcelain borders are cut out or reticulated in a lattice type pattern. They are hand painted in the style of Meissen. The flowers are colorful and realistic. You can see the veins in the leaves and the texture of the flower petals. Gilding accents the reticulated borders. Chose from A or B or buy them both. Condition: Excellent

The center of the plate has a hand painted scene of a wintry landscape. The trees are painted in excellent detail. It captures the beauty of the season. The plate has some gilded accents. This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Crown Staffordshire in the early 20th century. They have a diameter of 8 1/8 inches. They are made of fine, white bone china. The reserve in the center is hand painted with landscapes. There are oval reserves on the borders of the plates with bunches of brightly colored flowers. The borders have lavender stripes alternating with panels of gilded leaves. The hand painted reserves and the rims of each plate are accented with raised enamel beading. The rims are trimmed with gold. These plates are of exceptional quality and decorative value. Condition: Excellent
