This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in England by Worcester between 1775 and 1780. The set is unmarked but the pattern identifies it. The saucer has a diameter of 4 7/8 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high ad the opening has a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The set is decorated with hand painted swags and gilded ornaments in a classical style. Tiny flowers dot the porcelain of both pieces. Condition: There is minor wear to the gilded rims. There are no other defects.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode around 1800. It has a specious Sevres marking over the glaze. The handle is found in Berthoud’s Compendium of Cups. The simplistic landscape is dotted with pagodas and figures hunting game. The design is delightful. There is gilded trim and accents. Condition: The saucer has crazing in the glaze. There are no other defects.

The porcelain body of both pieces is fluted with scalloped edges. There are cobalt blue borders. There is hand painted decoration of red ribbons attached to garlands of fruit. The borders are accented with gilding. Condition: But for some minor wear to the gilding on the edges, this set is in excellent condition.

Condition: There is minor wear to gilded trim on the edges of both pieces. The body of the cup is fluted while the saucer is not. These may have been paired together. It is in otherwise excellent condition.

The coffee cup is 2 11/16 inches high, without the handle and has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. Note the unique handle style. The set is exquisitely hand painted. They are vivid, having almost a two dimensional appearance. Anyone who knows the quality of a rose done by John Rose will recognize this superb artistry. This is a museum quality set. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches and the cup is 1 3/4 inches high. The cup shape is blown out and scalloped on the rim. The saucer is shaped the same way. The ground color is apple green enamel. Delicate gilded swags encircle both pieces. The handle, interior of the cup and well of the saucer are richly gilded. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Doulton around 1900. It was a special order for the department store, J.E. Caldwell & Co. of Philadelphia. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. It is made of fine, white bone china. The name of the garden is “Hampton Court”. The scenes are hand painted with vibrant colors. It is signed by the artist, J. Price. A band of embossed gilding frames both pieces. Enjoy drinking your demitasse coffee with happy thoughts of summer. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea bowl and saucer was produced in England at the Derby Porcelain Works between 1770 and 1784. It has the gilded letter “D” and anchor mark on each piece. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 3 inches in diameter and 1 3/4 inches high. The porcelain is molded with ribs making the edges scalloped. The decoration is modest. The borders of the bowl and saucer have a turquoise enamel band. It is also in the well of the saucer. Delicate gilding accents the contours of each piece. The interior of the cup has slight pitting in the glaze common to 18th century porcelain. It is remarkable to think that this tea bowl and saucer has been cherished for over 200 years. Condition: Light wear to gilded trim and slight roughness on the foot of the cup.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1878. The date letters in the mark indicate this year. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The saucer is shaped and molded like a lily pad and the cup is the flower. The porcelain is smooth and creamy imitating ivory. The decoration is Japanese inspired. There are hand gilded butterflies, a heron bird, branches and foliage. Three colors of gold are used and it is all embossed so that you can feel the texture. This splendid cup and saucer has unique detail and design you would expect from such a prestigious manufacturer as Royal Worcester. Condition: The handle has a thin line of gilding that has slight wear. There are different colored marks on each piece showing a 2 year difference in production. This is not uncommon for earlier Worcester cups and saucer.

The gilding is elaborate and the decoration is finely hand painted. The style is classic and sophisticated. Condition: Excellent

They are made of fine bone china and have molded, high relief accents in the porcelain. Each plate has 4 hand painted birds that are named on the back. They are precisely depicted in vivid color with no two alike. The borders are elaborately gilded. These plates are works of art with a wonderful heritage. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Copeland between 1851 and 1885. It measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter. The plate is made of fine bone china. The celeste blue rim is reticulated. The center of the plate is hand painted with floral bouquets and colorful swags of flowers. The painting is delicate and detailed. There are gilded accents and trim around the rim. This plate will make a lovely display piece. Condition: There is light wear to the gilded trim around the rim. Facing it straight forward, you hardly notice it.

This porcelain dish was produced in England around 1825. There is a hand painted pattern number 1079 on the back with no other markings. It measures 9 1/2 inches across the handles, 8 1/2 inches wide and 1 inch deep. It has molded handles and is slightly concave in the middle. The ground color is a deep cobalt blue. The hand painting is quite elaborate with floral cartouches in the corners, a wonderful basket of flowers in the center, and elaborate gilded embellishments. It is apparent that this dish came from an esteemed manufacturer. Condition: But for some minor wear to gilding in two areas on the edge, it is in excellent condition.

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. They measure 9 ¼ inches in diameter. The porcelain is molded with an ornate ruffled border. The center of each plate has a miniature landscape painting surrounded by a gilded cartouche. The border has scallops, frills, flowers and even a suggestion of coral. There are accents of gilding throughout. The plates are so representative of Victorian taste. They will display beautifully on a wall or in a breakfront. Condition: Excellent
