This set of 10 porcelain plates was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer, or KPM, in 1905. The date marking indicates this year. The plates are 8 5/8 inches in diameter. They have scalloped rims and finely reticulate borders. The centers are expertly hand painted with luscious, ripe fruits and flowers. The colors are vivid and the painting so real, you can almost taste the fruit. KPM fruit plates are of incomparable quality and artistry. CONDITION: 9 plates are without flaws of any kind and are excellent. 1 plate has 3 little spots of paint missing with no other damage.

These 10 porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Koniglich Porzellan Manufactur, or Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer in 1902. There are date letters indicating this year. The plates measure 8 ¾ inches in diameter. They are made of fine hard paste porcelain and have reticulated borders with little ribbons at intervals around the rims. The cut out design is outlined in gold. Just inside the reticulated borders is a band of molded basket weave in relief. The centers of each plate are hand painted with realistic fruits and flowers. They almost make your mouth water. The colors are vibrant. The quality of the painting is nearly photographic. This is what KPM is best known for.

These 10 porcelain double handled cups and saucers were produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden decorating studio in the 1890s. The saucers have a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cups are 2 inches high. There are Rococo style molded designs in the delicate, translucent porcelain. The handles are also done in that ornate fashion. Each piece is beautifully hand painted with pastoral scenes of young lovers in gardens. There are two scenes on each piece as well as lovely floral arrays. They have elaborate gilded trim and accents on the handles and rims. These charming cups and saucers would have been used for cream soup or bouillon, but with a little imagination, you could use them for fruit or your favorite dessert. Only five are pictured but the set consists of 10 cups and saucers. Condition: Excellent

These 11 porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. They have first quality crossed swords markings under glaze. The plates measure 9 3/4 inches in diameter. The plates are deep with scalloped rims. Each plate is hand painted with sprays of colorful flowers and bugs. No two plates are alike. There is delicate gilding trimming the rims. Only one plate is pictured, but the set includes 11 plates. Condition: There is some very light surface wear the light scratches from use. It is minor and is barely visible.

This set of 12 porcelain bread and butter plates was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the 1880s. Not all the plates are pictured but there are 12 in the set. The plates have a diameter of 6 1/4 inches. The rims are slightly scalloped. They are hand painted with charming sprays and garlands of flowers in a palate of blue, pink and yellow. There is delicate hand gilded trim. There is a cartouche with a gilded monogram on the rims. Originally, they would have been used for bread but they make great serving dishes for some dessert or hors devours. Condition: One plate has a rim chip (pictured) but the other 11 are in excellent condition.

These 12 cabinet plates were produced in Germany by Meissen around 1875. They have first quality under glaze crossed swords markings with pommels. The plates measure 8” in diameter and are 1” deep. They have borders with 4 different colors. Each plate has large, succulent fruits and realistic flowers hand painted in the center. Cartouches within the borders contain sprigs of blossoms. The hand painting is the finest quality with vibrant coloring. The reticulated borders are outlined in bright enamel colors and the rims are trimmed with rich gold.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Ludwigsburg in 1770. The Ludwigsburg factory was formed in 1759 under royal patronage of Duke Carl Eugen and it became one of the leading European porcelain manufacturers between the years 1760 and 1775. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and is 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The clays that were available in the area produced a beige rather than white color porcelain. The hand-painted flowers are similar to those of the Meissen factory. This is no surprise since some of the artists had actually worked at Meissen. Burgundy colored enamel accents the handle and trims the rims of each piece. This is a genuine 18th century treasure. Condition: There is slight rubbing to the rim of the cup.

This porcelain tea cup was made in Germany by a Up-scale Dresden decorator in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8 inches. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 5/8 inches. The cup is wide at the top and tapers towards the middle. The ground color is iridescent green. There is a reserve on the front of the cup with a Watteau scene of lovers in a garden setting. The painting is extremely fine and very colorful. It is surrounded by a ring of raised gold beads or jewels. The rest of the cup has fine gold trellis work, swags of gold flowers and ribbons, all in raised gold. The decoration on the saucer is identical. The fine quality of workmanship and style is indicative of Donath Dresden. The use of the gilded flower covering the maker’s mark of the porcelain is also typical of their work. Condition: Excellent with slight gold wear.

This 3 piece porcelain tea cup, saucer and dessert plate was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the 1890s. The plate is 7 1/2 inches in diameter, the saucer is 4 7/8 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 3/4 inches high with a diameter of 3 1/8 inches. The fluted porcelain blanks were made in Bohemia by Ohme. The porcelain is highly translucent, delicate and scalloped on the edges. Bright panels of yellow alternate with panels of tiny colorful flowers. Lacy gold borders trim the rimes and handle. You will enjoy displaying or having a cup of tea from this delightful, dainty set. Condition: Excellent, without defects of any kind.

This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Manufactory between 1830 and 1840. They have a diameter of 8 3/4 inches. The plates have a reticulated rim with molded flowers and decoration in the porcelain. Each plate is hand painted with a Watteau scene depicting lovers in landscape settings. The painting is very fine, with minute detail and vivid colors. The quality of the workmanship is similar to that of Meissen. The borders and rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Two of the plates have sizable chips on the foot ring on the back of the plates. This would not affect use or display.

The cups are 1 ½ inches high and have a diameter of 3 ¾ inches. The porcelain has scalloped edges. All pieces are hand painted with vibrantly colored flowers. The cups are decorated inside and out. The borders are trimmed with lacy hand gilding. They are versatile and you may use them in so many ways. Condition: Excellent

The cups are 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The cups feature a split branch twist handle. Each piece is decorated with hand painted sprigs of tiny flowers. They are accompanied by tiny bugs, painted in color and in gold. There are gilded accents to the flowers. The rims are trimmed with fancy gold borders. Condition: Excellent antique condition, without defects of any kind.

There are flower sprigs or berries in the reserves around the borders. All of the reticulated work is accented with gilding. The reserves are framed in elegant gilding. The rims are heavily gilded. The marks vary from 1910 to 1920s. Condition: Excellent

The center of each plate is hand painted with bouquets of vibrantly colored flowers. There are gilded accents and trim. Condition: Excellent

This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in Germany by the Carl Thieme Dresden Factory in the 1890s. The plates measure 8 1/4 inches in diameter. They have a reticulated border measuring about 1 1/4 inches with tiny blue and gold raised rosettes. Vividly colored floral sprays and a ring of flowers decorated the centers of each plate. There are gilded accents and trim around the borders. The little rosettes around the border make these plates special. Condition: There are a couple of minor spots of stacking wear on the rings of flowers. They are otherwise in excellent condition.

The porcelain is molded in high relief. Intricate gilding highlights the raised designs. There are reserves with hand painted flowers of vivid colors and fine detail. Tiny insects can be found among the flowers. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold. The quality of these cups and saucers is incomparable. Condition: Excellent

This set of 6 porcelain soup cups and saucers was produced in the US by Willets Belleek between 1885 and 1909. The porcelain and the decoration originated from the factory. The saucers have a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high and 5 inches across the handles. The porcelain is egg-shell thin with a molded pattern similar to ones you might find on Irish Belleek porcelain. Sweet pink roses encircle the borders inside the cup, outside the cup and around the saucer. In the very center of each saucer and at the bottom of the cups you find a kind of rose medallion. Delicate gilded accents and gold trim complete these delightful cups and saucers. They may have been designed to serve soup in but you could serve berries with whipped cream or other delicacies.
