This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by a Paris decorator in the mid-19th century. The type of porcelain and style of decoration are indicative of Paris Porcelain. The saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8 inches and the cup is 3 3/8 inches high. The cup and saucer are molded into panels, giving the saucer ribs and the cup its shape. These panels divide the decoration into scenic segments and ornamental segments. There are buildings, bridges and trees done in a Chinoiserie stylized manner. In the design, you can see little figures in the windows or out fishing. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Inside the cup, at the bottom, is a beautiful gilded medallion. Condition: There are touches of wear to the gilding on the rims of both pieces and inside the well of the saucer.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by George Jones in 1850. There is a registry mark indicating this year. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The cup features a futuristic looking handle Jones often used. The set is decorated with vibrantly colored, hand painted asters and foliage. The vivid colors contrast beautifully against the white porcelain. The rims are trimmed with dentil gilding. Condition: There is a bit of wear to the edge of the saucer that keeps this set from being excellent. Given its age, it is very minor.

This porcelain jardinière was produced in France by Bernardaud & Co. Limoges between 1900 and 1914. The porcelain was sold white ware to a studio artist to be decorated later. The artist’s signature is in the decoration. The jardinière is approximately 12 inches in diameter and 8 1/2 inches high. It is hand painted with brightly colored chrysanthemums in art nouveau style. The ground color is mint green that shades from lighter to a bit darker from top to bottom. There is gold trim on the rim of the jardinière. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. The set is designed in an elegant Chinese style. The colors used are black and magenta. The flowers are hand painted. The contrasts of color and simplicity of design make this demitasse a striking and beautiful set. Condition: Excellent

These 6 porcelain egg cups were produced in England by Minton in the mid 19th century. We have seen this pattern attributed to Minton in our research. The cups measure 2 inches high and the openings are 2 inches in diameter. The porcelain is unglazed white parian. The interiors of the cups are glazed. They are molded in high relief with lily pads, blossoms, and buds in fine detail. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain candlesticks was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges at the turn of the 19th century. They were sold white ware to a studio painter for decoration. They measure 7 5/8 inches high and the diameter of the foot is 4 1/4 inches. The pair is decorated with rose and pink colored roses that tumble around each piece. The ground color is green that shades from light to dark. The tops of the candlesticks are painted with gold.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1892. The date ciphers in the mark indicate this year. The set is made of fine white bone china. The decoration is in the Japanese Imari style. There are borders of cobalt blue, baskets of flowers and all kinds of gilded ornaments. The set has a graceful shape and elaborate design. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Helena Wolfsohn Dresden in the 1880s. The shape of the set is quatrefoil. It is decorated with alternating panels of flowers and landscape scenes with lovers in gardens. Ornate gilding trims the rims and separates the panels. All the decoration is painstakingly hand painted in the Meissen style. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain serving platter was produced in England by an unknown maker in the mid 19th century. It has painted numbers and decorator’s marks on the bottom. It measures 10 inches by 9 1/4 inches and is 1 1/4 inches deep. It is made of fine, white bone china. The ground color is a rich cobalt blue. The decorations are factory transfer, enhanced with hand painted coloring. The gilding is skillfully hand painted around the center of the platter. The rim is trimmed with gold. Condition: There is a trace of stacking wear that is barely visible.

This porcelain tea pot was produced in France by Bawo & Dotter Elite Works Limoges in the late 19th century. The pot measures 7 1/2 inches from the handle to the spout and is 4 1/2 inches high. It is made of fine, white hard paste porcelain. It is decorated with factory transfer decoration that is accented with gold. The designs are intricate and resemble tapestry. In addition, there are bands of heavy embossed gold in the decoration. The handle, spout and rims are trimmed with heavy gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Wehsener Dresden in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The porcelain has an egg shell, translucent quality. The set is hand decorated with large sprays of colorful flowers. Little sprigs of flowers dot the surface of the porcelain. Fancy gilding trims the edges of each piece. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany, especially for Charles Ahrenfeldt and exported with the name Saxonia. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The porcelain has designs molded into it. There is a scene on the front of the cup of lovers in a garden. It is surrounded by ornate gilding. There are numerous sprigs of flowers strewn about on both pieces. There are lovely gilded accents and trim. Condition: The bottom of the saucer has a small hairline craze that does not go through to the other side.

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Richard Klemm Dresden around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 5/8 inches and the cup is 3 inches high. The set is decorated in the Meissen style with vibrantly colored sprays of flowers. The height of the cup makes the flowers stand out. There is lacy gilding around the rims and accents on the handle. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain box was produced in Germany by Richard Klemm Dresden in the late 19th century. It measures 3 3/4 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches high. The lid is elaborately decorated with a hand painted scene of lovers in a landscape. Fancy gilding frames the scene. The apple green ground is overlaid with a fine mesh of raised gold. The bottom half of the box is white with ornate gilded filigree around it. Condition: There is slight wear to the gold mesh on the lid.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Carl Thieme Dresden around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The porcelain is fine and translucent. The saucer has a scalloped edge and the cup has a split handle. The porcelain is nicely detailed. Vibrant garlands of hand painted flowers encircle both pieces. Lacy gilding gleams on the rims. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain breakfast cup and biscuit tray was produced in France in the mid 19th century. It has an impressed and printed mark with location in Paris. The tray measures 9 1/2 inches long and 5 3/4 inches wide. The cup has a diameter of 4 5/8 inches and is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is decorated with a factory transfer that is hand colored and has enamel accents. There is a garland of muted pink flowers and gray foliage and branches encircling each piece. An elegant Victorian monogram graces the tray. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. This is a cup you won’t have to re-fill. Condition: Excellent

This demitasse set, consisting of a pot with lid, covered sugar bowl, cream pitcher and tray was produced in France by Legrand Limoges in the late 19th century. The set has an under glaze and stamped mark indicating that it was decorated in the factory. The tray measures 12 1/2 inches long and 9 3/4 inches wide. The pot is 6 inches high and 7 inches from spout to handle. The set is hand painted in cobalt blue, raised white enamel and profuse gilding. The design covers the entire surface of the pot, sugar and creamer. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Europe in the mid 19th century. It is marked under glaze but we have been unable to identify it. The shape is similar to some used by KPM. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and the cup is 3 inches high, without the handle. The porcelain is quite substantial, similar to the weight of Paris porcelains. There is a reserve on the front of the cup with a scene of buildings in a European city. It is expertly hand painted with great detail and very fine perspective. The ground color is beige and there is gold trim on the rims and handle. This is a wonderful collector’s item. Condition: The gilded ring inside the well of the saucer has minor wear. It is unavoidable with the cup sitting on it for possibly 150 years.
