This porcelain plate was produced in France by the Boyer studio at Rue de la Paise between 1817 and 1834. The plate measures 10” in diameter. There is a coat of arms with a Latin motto in the border. It reads, “Vel Arte, Vel Marte” or “Or Skill or Initiative”. The plate measures 10” in diameter. The hand painted scene of a young maiden dressed in silks and satin, is picking flowers barefoot. It appears to be dusk and there is a sense of mystery in the approaching darkness. The painting is the high quality you might find on canvas. The bright green border contains cartouches of elegant raised gilding. Bouquets of brightly colored flowers fill the spaces within. A tooled gold border encircles the central scene and the rim is trimmed with gold. This plate is a masterpiece on porcelain. Condition: There is some minor loss to paint on the edges of the scene.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Mintons in the late 19th century. The date markings are obscured so it is not possible to specify the year. It is signed by the renowned artist, Antonin Boullimier, trained at the Sevres Porcelain Manufactory. The plate is 9 ½” in diameter. The blank is made of fine, white bone china with a reticulated border. The center of the plate has a hand painted scene of a sweet girl, sitting on a log, dangling her feet over a lily pond. Flowers fill the background and a butterfly attracts her attention. The painting is beautifully detailed and colored in soft tones. There is a border of elegant, raised gilding. The reticulation around the edge is outlined in raised gold. The plate is representative of some the highest quality porcelain Mintons created in the Victorian era. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain vase was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. It is 6 5/8” high with a diameter of 5 ½”. The vase has a blown out, melon shape, has scrolled feet and has a molded rococo style border at the top edge. The decoration is very ornate, to appeal to Victorian taste. A cobalt blue collar is over laid with gilding that is mosaic like. Within that collar, on the front of the vase, is a reserve containing a hand painted land and water scene with mountains in the background. It is framed in raised gilding. The lower portion of the vase has a cream colored ground, over laid with a lacy pattern of gilding. In this design you can find cobalt blue butterflies outlined in gold and round ornaments. The border is trimmed with gold and the feet are gilded. The interior of the vase has a tinge of pink color over laid with spattered gilding. It is a truly amazing piece with endless detail. These 8 porcelain chocolate cups and saucer were produced in France at Sevres around 1810. The saucers have a diameter of 4 7/8 “ and are 1 ½” deep. The cup are 2 7/8” high,without the handle, and have a diameter of 3 1/8”. Each cup has a hand painted portrait of a famous French woman, named on the bottom. They have tooled gold frames and lacy gold accents around the edges. The center of the saucers have lacy gold medallions in the wells.There are 4 blue and 4 beige cups and saucers. It is unusual to find a set of matching cups and saucers in recent times. Condition Excellent

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in 1917. The date letter indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 6” and the cup measures 3 ¼” high (without the handle) with a diameter of 3 ¾”. The cup features an empire style handle and paw feet. There is a hand painted portrait of Frederick the Great who was king of Prussia from 1740 to 1786. The portrait is very detailed with excellent coloring. A frame of tooled, ornate gilding encircles the portrait. There are wide bands of gold trimming the rims and gold accents on the scrolled handle. This is a wonderful addition for one who appreciates items of historical significance. Condition: Excellent

These 8 plates were produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. They are named scenes of famous places in the United Kingdom painted by E. Ball. They are 9" in diameter. The borders are cobalt blue. The center of each plate has a reserve containing scenes of ruins of castles and land- scapes of the English countryside. Sky, mountains and water are painted with great skill, in vivid colors. The scenes are framed in ornate raised gilding. Elaborate raised gilding fills the cobalt border. The rims are trimmed with heavy, gadrooned gilding. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain vase on stand was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1878. The date letter indicates this year. It vase stands 5 7/8” high and is 5 ¾” across the handles. The piece appears to be in two pieces, the bowl on the top and a stand on the bottom but is it made in one piece. The Asian inspired shape and design evolved from the Aesthetic movement. Friezes of gilded peonies and a gilded bird in flight, surrounded by flowering branches decorate each side of the bowl. The base has bronze-like accents to the feet. Worcester styled this piece after ancient Chinese bronze objects and turned it into a unique porcelain creation. Condition: There is light wear to gilding on base.

This porcelain cabinet plate was produced in England by Mintons in the 1870s. It has hand painted numerals on the back. It measures 9” in diameter. It has an entwined, reticulated border. The plate is hand painted in raised, metallic enamels. Two birds are perched on branches of gold and platinum cherry blossoms. The center of the plate is painted in celeste blue. The reticulated border is accented with gold. This plate is a lovely example of the Asian inspired aesthetic period. Condition: Excellent

G946 Antique Spode Copelands Potpourri Vase Words English Porcelain, Minton This porcelain potpourri vase with cover was produced in England by Spode Copelands in the 1890s. It is 12 ½” tall and has a diameter of 6 5/8”. The vase is designed in Neo-classical style with ram’s heads, pillars, and flame finials. There is a pattern of molded acanthus leaves on the lid and on the bottom portion. The lid is pierced. The vase is hand painted with vibrantly colored roses on a gilded border that surrounds the body. Tiny forget-me-nots trim the rim of the lid. Turquoise enamel beads accent the opulent gold decorations. This is an unusual, highly decorative piece that will be a focal point of attention in any space. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain vases was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1879. Hand painted birds are done by the artist John Hopewell. The date letter indicates this year. They are 8 ¼ “ tall, 3” wide and 4 ¾” across the handles. Asian styled handles and feet are an inspiration of the aesthetic movement. A raucous array of berries, butterflies, birds and flowers fill the space on all four sides of the vases. The realistic, hand painted birds and flora are vibrantly colored and done with fine detail by John Hopewell, one of Worcester’s most renown artists. It is amazing to find a matched pair. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Austria by Franz Dorfl between 1884 and 1902. The cup is artist signed. The shape of the set is triangular and quite unusual. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. The front of the cup has a reserve containing a hand painted scene. A classical woman is taking Cupid's bow and arrows from him. It is a spirited contest. The scene is framed with an elaborate raised gold cartouche. The gilding extends around the sides of the cup. Elements of this gilded pattern embellish the saucer. The interior of the cup is entirely gilded. The handle and rims of each piece are covered with gold. This is an extraordinary demitasse cup and saucer you would be proud to display. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1890s. It has the first quality blue under glaze crossed swords mark. The bears measure 5 1/2" high, have a width of 3 3'4" and is 3 1/2" deep. They are modeled in fine detail and are hand painted. They look like frisky characters. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1900. It has the first quality blue crossed swords mark under glaze and model number T175. The height of the figurine is 9 1/2" with a diameter of 4 3/8" at the base. The modeling is finely articulated. It is hand painted in excellent manner. The piece is from the art nouveau period. The subject matter exhibits charm and grace. Condition: Excellent

These 14 glass punch cups were produced in Bohemia by an unknown glass manufacturer in the late 19th century. They measure 3 ¾ inches high and have a diameter of 3 ¾ inches. The glass is hand blown with a leaded content so that they ring when tapped. They are hand decorated with heavy enamel paint you can feel with your fingers. The decorations of multi-colored roses is very detailed and vibrantly colored. The enameling is applied over gold foil that shows through to the inside. There is elegant gilding and gold trim on the rims and handles. Add some Victorian glamor to your holiday gathering with these splendid punch cups. Condition: Excellent Pd ETT-WT

These 10 porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Koniglich Porzellan Manufactur, or Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer in 1902. There are date letters indicating this year. The plates measure 8 ¾ inches in diameter. They are made of fine hard paste porcelain and have reticulated borders with little ribbons at intervals around the rims. The cut out design is outlined in gold. Just inside the reticulated borders is a band of molded basket weave in relief. The centers of each plate are hand painted with realistic fruits and flowers. They almost make your mouth water. The colors are vibrant. The quality of the painting is nearly photographic. This is what KPM is best known for.

These 10 crystal champagne glasses were produced in Bohemia, part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the late 19th century. The specific maker is unknown. The glasses are 5 11/16 inches high and have a diameter of 3 ¾ inches. They are hand blown crystal and have hand cut stems. The stem of the glass is hollow for a reason. When champagne is poured into this type of glass the bubbles come up like a volcanic eruption. The decoration is heavily applied, hand painted enamel you can feel with your fingers. The roses are finely detailed and multi-colored. The maker thoughtfully backed the enamel painting with gold foil so that gold flowers show through to the inside of the glass. They have gilded accents and the rims are trimmed with gold. You will love the fine detail on these glasses and get an explosion of bubbles in your glass. Condition: Excellent

These 12 porcelain cream soup cups and saucers were produced in England by the Royal Cauldon Factory around 1900. The saucers measure 5 ¾ inches in diameter and the cups are 6 inches across the handles and 2 inches high. The cups feature graceful scalloped pedestal bases and split branch handles. All pieces are decorated with elaborate gilding that nearly covers the entire surface. There are knots of colorful hand painted flowers accenting the gold decorations. A lovely rose is at the bottom of each cup and well of each saucer. They were produced with such amazing delicacy and style; they are irresistible. Condition: One small, shallow chip just nicking the gold on the edge of a saucer, keeps this set of 12 from being excellent.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Wedgwood around 1850. It has the name “Wedgwood” impressed in block letters. It measures 8 ½ inches in diameter. It is made of fine bone china that has the design molded in high relief. The design has stylized fruits and berries hand painted in metallic colors and colorful enamel. The fruits are superimposed over the basket weave background. It makes an interesting composition, almost modern abstract, when it is positively Victorian. Condition: Excellent
