This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany at the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory between 1830 and 1840. The saucer is 4 1/4 inches long, 3 7/8 inches wide and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. The set is made in the quatrefoil shape or 4 sides. It has beautifully hand painted scenes of lovers in landscapes. The painting is expertly done and the colors are vivid. The rims are trimmed with elaborately gilded borders with tiny pink roses. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Heufel Dresden in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set has borders of cream and bands of crimson red trimmed with elaborate raised gilding. The cup has a scenic reserve of a garden with lovers. It is framed in raised gold. This cup and saucer is decorated in the Vienna style. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain fruit bowl was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges in the early 20th century. The porcelain bowl was sold white ware to a studio artist to decorate. It measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter and is 4 1/4 inches high. The rim of the bowl has a slightly scalloped rim with little crimps punctuating it. The quality of the painting on this bowl is very professional with fine technique. There are realistic black raspberries and blossoms on the outside of the bowl. Inside, the color is done on a rosy shaded ground, like a sunset, giving the berries a monochrome appearance. It’s like night and day from the inside of the bowl to the outside. Condition: Some of the high points on the gilded rim have tiny spots of wear. It is otherwise in excellent condition.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1896. The date cipher indicates this year. The plate measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter. It is made of fine, white bone china. The rim is slightly scalloped with a molded, gadrooned border. It is decorated in Japanese Imari style. Cobalt blue, rust red and bright gold are used in this floral design. The flowers are painted in a stylized, bold manner. Condition: There is a bit of scuffing to the gilding of the flowers in the middle of the plate. It is not detracting.

This porcelain basket was produced in France by Pouyat Limoges around 1900. It was made especially for Wanamaker’s Department Store. The basket measures 9 1/4 inches long, 4 3/4 inches wide and 4 inches high including the handle. The rim of the basket is frilly and scalloped with high relief molding as does the handle. The inside of the basket has a transfer decoration. There are garlands of tiny flowers and pink roses. The rim of the basket has sponged gold trim. The handle is trimmed with heavy gold. Condition: But for a few specks of gold wear on high points, this basket is in excellent condition.

This porcelain and silver bowl was produced in the United States by Lenox in the early 20th century. It has a diameter of 6 inches and is 3 1/4 inches high. The porcelain has the ivory hue that is the Lenox porcelain trade mark. The rim of the bowl is scalloped and it has a pedestal foot. The outer mid-section of the bowl has a ring of colorful hand painted flowers encircling it. The scalloped rim has a border of silver overlay in a leaf pattern. The leaves are finely etched. The foot of the bowl has a band of silver on it. Condition: Excellent

These two porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Royal Berlin KPM Manufactory c. 1870. They measure 9 inches in diameter. The borders have an intricate reticulated rim. There are ribs molded in the porcelain toward the middle of the plate. It is completely hand painted in a pattern reminiscent of Meissen’s Blue Onion. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Brown, Westhead & Moore in the 1890s. It was produced just at the time the company name was changing to Cauldon, so both names are on the back stamp. The painting is signed by the renowned artist Anton Boullemiere. The plate has a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. It is made of fine, white bone china. The rim has a molded, rococo border. The plate has molded ridges radiating out towards the rim. The ground color is cream with a high gloss glaze. In the center of the plate is a raised, gilded cartouche with the portrait of a little girl inside. She has curly flowing hair and a sweet face. This artist had worked for Mintons and Coalport as well as other fine porcelain manufacturers. This is a beautiful work of art. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain wall pocket was made in England by Royal Worcester in 1880. The mark is in dark green, with the capital letter R indicating that year. The wall pocket measures 6 1/4 inches long and 2 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is molded in the shape of a pouch with a fringed tassel tying it off. The ground color of the pouch is a combination of bronze and gold. The tie is gold and there is gold trim around the ruffled opening. There is a hole in the back for hanging. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain pitcher was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1887. It is model number 1185 and has the date letter indicating the year. The pitcher measures 6 inches high and has a diameter of about 5 1/4 inches. The ground color of the porcelain is ivory. The porcelain is molded with a handle shaped like bamboo. There are leaves molded in high relief scattered around the pitcher. It is painted with birds in flight and trailing flowers and foliage. Much of the detail is outlined in gold. The rims and handle have gold trim or gilded accents. Condition: Excellent

This set of 10 porcelain luncheon plates was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1901. They have date ciphers indicating this year. They were made especially for the high end retailer, Ovingtons, of New York. They measure 8 inches square. They are all artist signed by S. Stanley. The plates are made of the finest quality bone china. The borders of the plates are ruby red with an adjoining 1 3/4 inch area of ivory color ground. The red and ivory areas are overlaid with intricate raised gilding. There is a reserve in the center of each plate that is hand painted with an array of colorful, realistic flowers. The center of each plate is different. The rims are trimmed with heavy gold. These plates are just stunning. Condition: Excellent

This crystal vase was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. It is 12 inches long and 9 inches high. The glass has a lead content and rings when tapped. It is hand blown and has applied glass features. It is formed in the shape of a cornucopia. The glass is dark, sea green. The entire body of the vase is covered with intricate enameled decoration. The flowers and ornamental swags in vivid raised enamels are completely done by hand. The vase is accented with profuse gilding. This is an extraordinary piece. Condition: Excellent. There is some slight rubbing to the gilding.

This porcelain casket was produced in Italy in the late 19th century by Capodimonte. It measures 11 1/2 inches long, 7 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high. It has a gilt metal frame with hinges and a latch to close it. The porcelain is molded with high relief scenes and ornamentation. Greek gods, nude figures, cherubs and animals cover the surface. It even has dolphins. They are done in bright, colorful enamels. The casket is profusely gilded. It is in excellent condition.

This pair of bronze candlesticks was produced in France in the late 19th century. They measure 6 3/4 inches high and the base has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. There are 3 areas on the candlesticks that have the champlevé enamel decorations, the cup that holds the candle, the bobeche and the base. The enamel decoration is elaborate and very colorful. There are girl and boy cherub figures creating the shaft of both pieces. They are in excellent, antique condition.

This porcelain tea bowl and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen. The mark dates from the period around 1750. The crossed swords mark is under glaze and is first quality. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 3/4 inches high. It does not have a handle. The shape of the set is in the form of a lotus blossom. There are finely hand painted sprays and sprigs of flowers scattered across each piece. The rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: It is in very good, un-restored condition. There is some light wear to painted decoration in the saucer. There is slight rubbing to the gilded trim on the rims. The foot rings are slightly rough. These are commensurate with the age of this item.

This porcelain box was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1906. The marks on the bottom identify this date. The box measures 2 3/8 inches wide, 2 1/4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches deep. The porcelain is pure, white, bone china. The box is heart shaped with a little puffiness to the lid. The bottom half has a gadrooned edge around it. The box is decorated in the Imari pattern with tradition colors of cobalt blue, iron red, green and gold. It is done with very fine detail and is a charming little piece. Condition: Excellent

This flint glass pitcher was produced in the United Stated at the Boston Sandwich glass factory in the late 19th century. It measures 5 1/2 inches high. It is cranberry opalescent hobnail with a clam broth attached handle. There is a rosette connecting the handle and a wide polished pontil on the bottom. The pitcher rings like a bell when tapped. The pitcher has a sensuous quality about it. The glass feels slick and smooth until you come to the hobnails that increase in size from top to bottom. Light coming through it makes the hobnails radiate like pools of oil. This is a rare and wonderful piece of American glass. The colors are sensational. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in the U.S.A. by Lenox between 1894 and 1906. The plate has a diameter of 9 inches. It was commissioned for the retailer Bailey, Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia. The plate is artist signed W.H. Mosley who was a prominent painter at Lenox. The plate has a soft cream colored ground. The center is hand painted in subtle colors in a rather “Impressionistic” manner. The birds are identified as “Snipe” found in marsh lands. They are painted in fine detail. The rim of the plate is trimmed with heavy embossed gold. The foot ring on the back is also gilded showing that this was no ordinary plate. Condition: Excellent
