This glass vase was produced in Bohemia 1870-1880 by Harrach. The vase is 8 inches high and the widest point has a diameter of 4 inches. The glass has a layer of pink glass over white opaline glass. It has three applied ball feet. It is hand enameled with a bird on a branch surrounded by flowers. The enameling is beautifully detailed with vibrant colors. There is a sprig of flowers on the back on the vase. The rim is trimmed with gilding that has black enamel accents. The feet are trimmed with gold. Condition: The gilding on the rim and feet has minor wear that is not distracting from the beauty of the vase.

This crystal vase was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. It is 12 inches long and 9 inches high. The glass has a lead content and rings when tapped. It is hand blown and has applied glass features. It is formed in the shape of a cornucopia. The glass is dark, sea green. The entire body of the vase is covered with intricate enameled decoration. The flowers and ornamental swags in vivid raised enamels are completely done by hand. The vase is accented with profuse gilding. This is an extraordinary piece. Condition: Excellent. There is some slight rubbing to the gilding.

This flint glass pitcher was produced in the United Stated at the Boston Sandwich glass factory in the late 19th century. It measures 5 1/2 inches high. It is cranberry opalescent hobnail with a clam broth attached handle. There is a rosette connecting the handle and a wide polished pontil on the bottom. The pitcher rings like a bell when tapped. The pitcher has a sensuous quality about it. The glass feels slick and smooth until you come to the hobnails that increase in size from top to bottom. Light coming through it makes the hobnails radiate like pools of oil. This is a rare and wonderful piece of American glass. The colors are sensational. Condition: Excellent

This crystal goblet was produced in Bohemia by an unknown company. We believe it was made sometime in the early 20th century. The goblet is 9 3/4 inches high and the diameter is 3 1/2 inches. The decoration is beautifully hand enameled, depicting brightly colored parrots on both sides of the glass. There are also flowers and gilded leaves. CONDITION: There is a bit of wear to the gilded stems of the flowers.

This pair of crystal candle holders was produced in the early 20th century. We believe that they were made by an American glass company such as Libbey, Sinclaire or Pairpoint. There is no signature and the pattern does not lend itself to identification. They are 11 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the base is 4 1/4 inches. They are hand blown with a wide polished pontil on the base. The shape is elegant with six panels to the shaft. The engraved decoration reflects through the sides of the panels. There is an art nouveau feel to the stylized berries and foliage that ramble around the crystal. Condition: Excellent

This crystal cordial glass was produced in Bohemia in the late 19th century. There are no marks to identify the maker. The glass is 9 1/4 Inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 1/4 inches. The crystal is hand blown. The stem has an elongated air twist stem. There is hand painted enamel decoration on the top. It is accented with blue beading and gold trim. Condition: Excellent

This crystal decanter was produced in the United States in the late 19th century. It is not marked, therefore we are unable to precisely identify the manufacturer. It is evident in the fine quality that it was produced by a respected company. The decanter is 8 1/2 inches high. The diameter of the base is 4 1/4 inches. The decanter has an interesting shape in that it bulges out and pulls in below the handle. The cutting is very fine with intricate designs. It has a hollow stopper and the handle is also cut. Condition: Excellent

This set of 6 crystal wine glasses was produced in the United States by one of the fine manufacturers in the 1890s. They are not signed; therefore we are unable to identify them precisely. They are 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The crystal is hand blown with bright clarity. The stems are hollow with a teardrop. The cutting is very intricate with hob stars and cross hatching. The foot has a star burst. They have a bell-like ring and just sparkle in the light. Condition: Excellent

This glass covered jar was produced in Europe. It has the style of the 1870s period but we are not certain of the manufacturer. The jar is 5 3/4 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches high. The glass is hand blown with a swirl of opalescent color entwined with powder blue. You can feel the ribs in the glass with your fingers. There is a hand painted scene in silhouette of children watching a bird on the lid. It is quite charming, with good detail. The lower half of the jar is trimmed with a ring of white enamel beads. Condition: Excellent

This crystal dresser jar was produced in Belgium in the early 20th century. It is not signed but we believe it was made by Val St. Lambert. We have seen this pattern before. The jar measures 3 3/8 inches in diameter and 2 1/8 inches high. The crystal is hand blown and cut with panels and star bursts. The lid has floral decorations that are acid etched from green to clear. The workmanship is very fine and detailed. Condition: Excellent

This glass decanter was produced in Europe in the late 19th century in the area then known as Bohemia. It has no signature or marking. It is 10 inches high, including the stopper, and 5 3/4 inches wide. The glass is hand blown crystal. Inside the cut stopper is a teardrop bubble. The handle is applied. The decoration is hand enameled cherries, leaves and branches. There is gold trim on the rim and handle. Condition: Excellent

This crystal glass was produced in Bohemia in the late 19th century. We are not certain of the manufacturer but it is in the style of Lobmyer and Moser. The glass is 5 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 3 1/8 inches. The crystal is hand blown. It is decorated with brightly colored enamels. There is a beautiful lady in a ball gown on the front. Flowers and swirling ornaments decorate the sides and back. There are gilded accents within the decoration. The rims are trimmed with gold. The decoration on this glass is reminiscent of Dresden decorated porcelain. Condition: Excellent

This pair of crystal compotes was made in England by Stevens & Williams around 1900. They measure 6 inches tall and the openings have a diameter of 5 3/4 inches. They are hand blown from clear crystal that varies from thicker areas to very thin. This type of crystal is often referred to as “rock crystal.” It imitated the mineral stone used by the Chinese. The bowls are expertly hand engraved and polished with ribbons and wreaths. There is a feather-like pattern at the bottom of the bowl that is thicker and somewhat puffy. Condition: Excellent. How wonderful it is that this delicate pair has survived undamaged to this day.

This crystal and silver overlay vase was produced in the USA by Mathews Company of Newark, New Jersey, around 1907. There is a hallmark from this company and the silver content, 999/1000 is stamped on the foot. The vase is 14 inches tall and the opening has a diameter of 3 5/8 inches. The hand blown crystal is emerald green. It is decorated with elaborate silver overlay. There are large poppies on four sides, surrounded by flowing foliage in the loveliest art nouveau fashion. This decoration is finely engraved. There are wide bands of silver on the rim and near the middle. The stem and foot are entirely covered with silver. Condition: Excellent

This glass vase was produced in France in the mid 19th century. We do not know the maker since the vase is not signed. The glass has a lead content and rings when pinged. The vase is hand blown and has a polished pontil. The vase is 13 3/4 inches tall. The diameter of the opening is 6 1/4 inches. The vase is wonderfully hand painted. There is a life-like parrot perched on a branch with his wings out-spread. The tropical greenery around him is painted with fine detail and surrounds the whole vase. Condition: There is wear and losses to the gilded trim on the rims and borders. This vase maintains a marvelous decorative value despite these flaws.

This crystal beaker or cup with silver lid was produced in Eastern Europe in 1810. There is a date engraved on the glass. We do not know who the maker was. It is 5 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 3 1/4 inches. The beaker is hand blown and cut from fine crystal. There are panels which are cut out and polished like cabochon jewels, each having engraved subject matter. These engravings are symbolic. There is a pair of doves, a cornucopia with grapes, clasped hands and other symbols. There are words in German over each panel. The engraved work is exquisite. The lid is silver and is marked. Condition: Excellent.

This glass powder jar was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the late 19th century. It is 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches high. The hand blown glass is colored light blue. It is hand enameled with a lacy floral pattern on the lid. There are gilded panels on the top edge and bottom with colored enamel decoration. They are mounted with a gilded metal hinged frame. Condition: Excellent

This glass vase was produced in Kamenicky Senov, Bohemia by Josef Ahne in the late 19th century. The glass studio was in production from 1830 until 1909. This is one of the earlier pieces. The vase is 10 1/4 inches high and 8 inches wide. The opaline glass is hand blown with a polished bottom. The vase is signed Ahne and there is the number 5 on the bottom. There is a charming hand painted scene of a little girl looking at a clock. Ahne copied paintings by Italian and German artists. Ahne won a bronze medal at the Paris Exposition in 1873. The excellence of his work is evident in this piece. The remaining area of the vase is painted to resemble marble. There is a sprig of flowers on the back side. Condition: The gilded rim of the vase is worn. There are no other defects. This is a lovely antique vase that will bring pleasure for years to come.
