The model number is 437, impressed in the base. This fox is realistically portrayed. The modeling of the porcelain has good detail. The hand painting is superb. He has the typical mask over his eyes and the texture of the fur under his chin and on his tail are well done. He is very sleek and seems alert. Maybe he is watching a bird up in a tree. This porcelain vase was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen before 1970. It is 6 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. There are artist's initials and inventory numbers on the bottom, 104 over 396. The vase is ovoid but somewhat flattened. It has an interesting crackle glaze imitating the Chinese Satsuma style. There are stylized fruits and flowers hand painted on both sides. It is trimmed with gold, top and bottom. Condition: This handsome vase is in excellent condition.

This porcelain dish was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl in 1952. It measures 10 1/2 inches across the handles and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The dish is molded with a fish scale pattern which gives an interesting texture to the porcelain. There are pierced handles in the shape of dolphins. The dish is shaded from light to a deeper blue giving the feeling of water and sky. Hand painted seagulls are in the center of the dish.
