This pair of porcelain sea lions was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. They measure about 5 inches long, 4 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. They are signed by the artist K. Himmelstoss, a fine modeler who worked at Rosenthal. These adorable little guys look like they are kissing. They are well modeled and hand painted. Artisans at Rosenthal created animal figures with character and personality as you can see. Condition: Excellent first quality.

This porcelain monkey was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen in 1964. The marking indicated this year. It is initialed by the artist Niels Nielsen. It measures 5 inches high and is 3 inches wide. The artist portrays a female monkey in a serene pose. She looks contented, sleepy and apparently pregnant. These 6 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1958. The markings on the back indicate this year of manufacture. The plates have a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. They are made of fine bone china. Each plate is hand painted with a different spray of flowers and are signed by the artist Freeman. The flowers are vibrantly, and realistically rendered. The flowers account for an area of 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The rest of the plates are richly gilded with elaborate, embossed gold. They are wonderful to see and amazing to touch. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by the Schwarzburger Werkstatten or Schwarzburg Workshops in the 1920s. The base has the impressed initials AST which stand for the artist Albert Storch. The factory was founded by Max Aldolf Pfeiffer in 1908 and he was the director until 1913 at which time he became the artistic director at Meissen. The highest standards of artistic accomplishment is evident. The macaw is 15 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide and 7 inches deep. The art deco modeling is unmistakable and stylish. The hand painting is vivid and exciting with excellent details. This piece may be viewed from any angle and is an outstanding decorative accent for your decor. Condition: Excellent. This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1925. The date code indicates this year. The floral painting is signed by E. Phillips. The plates were produced especially for the retailer Ovington Brothers in New York. These plates measure 10 1/2 inches in diameter. They have a two inch crimson red border that is overlaid with elaborate raised gilding. Brilliantly colored flowers fill the centers of each plate. A cream colored border decorated with more raised gilding surrounds the floral center. The rims are trimmed with gold. No white shows on these plates. They were only meant for display. This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Doulton in 1938. They measure 10 1/2 inches in diameter. They are made of fine bone china that is ivory in color. The entire front surface of the plate is decorated. They have elaborate gold borders with cartouches containing urns. The centers are hand painted with scenes of Italian landscapes and water views. This porcelain and sterling silver demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Wedgwood in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The well of the saucer is indented so that the cup sits in it securely and will not slide off. This is known as a “trembleuse” cup and saucer. The set is decorated with silver lines in an art deco geometric pattern. Green leaves accent the design. The cup fits into a sterling silver holder that has cut outs echoing the pattern on the porcelain. The silver is marked with English hallmarks. It has a quirky, zigzag handle that gives it pizzazz. It is a factory decorated set with under glaze and over glaze marks and a factory artist’s signature. The platter measures 19 inches long, 12 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches deep. The 9 plates have a diameter of 9 1/4 inches. The rims on the plates are scalloped. The rim of the platter is molded and scalloped. Each piece is hand painted with flying game birds such as pheasants, partridges, and mallards. The rims are trimmed with gold. The set is colorful and very decorative. Condition: Excellent. There is virtually no wear or signs of use.
