This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. It measures 10 inches in diameter. The artist’s initials are on the back. The plate has twelve sides and has molded beading in the porcelain around the edge. It has a hand painted scene in the center. There is a hen and a rooster among a field of wild flowers. It is styled in the art nouveau fashion. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Crown Staffordshire in the early 20th century. They have a diameter of 8 1/8 inches. They are made of fine, white bone china. The reserve in the center is hand painted with landscapes. There are oval reserves on the borders of the plates with bunches of brightly colored flowers. The borders have lavender stripes alternating with panels of gilded leaves. The hand painted reserves and the rims of each plate are accented with raised enamel beading. The rims are trimmed with gold. These plates are of exceptional quality and decorative value. Condition: Excellent

This bisque porcelain figure was produced in the mid 19th century. It has the initials L&M impressed in the base. We do not know the country of origin but it most likely is Continental. It is 10 1/2 inches high and the base has a diameter of 4 inches. It is made of unfired bisque porcelain. The piece depicts a sweet faced child holding a basket of fruit in one hand. There is a feeling of calmness and purity emanating from this figure. Condition: Excellent

These 8 champagne glasses or sherbets were produced in Sweden by Orrefors. We believe they were made in the 1960s. The style is very “Modern.” The opening measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and they are 4 3/4 inches high. They are all signed with a stylus on the foot. The glass is extremely thin at the rim then increases thickness to accommodate the cut pattern. They are colored with a pale amethyst tint. They are hand cut in a geometric pattern rather like a honey comb. The cuts reflect into each other like a prism. The stem is cut into 6 panels and the foot has the same geometric pattern as the bowl of the glass. There is a sensuous experience to be enjoyed visually, touching them or drinking from them. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain dish was produced in France in the late 19th century. It has an underglaze mark that says Limoges, France but there is no factory name. The dish was evidently sold undecorated to an amateur artist who painted it. The dish has cut out handles on the sides. It is 8 1/4 inches across the handles. The roses are painted with delicacy. You have buds to full blown blooms in pink and rose. The dish is trimmed with gilding. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Royal Vienna around 1870. The diameter of the plate is 8 1/2 inches. The plate has sections of the border cut out with reticulated designs and painted with flowers and birds. There are also panels with colorful hand painted birds on branches. They are reminiscent of bird painting done by Meissen and Herend. The center of the plate has a branch of hazel nuts and sprigs of berries. The decoration is beautifully done. There are gold accents and trim on the rim. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain basket was produced in England in the mid 19th century. It is unmarked. It measures 8 1/4 inches long and 4 1/2 inches high. It is made of fine quality, white bone china. You would expect this quality from factories such as Minton, Worcester, Davenport, or Coalport. The handle and rim has decoration molded into the porcelain which is accented with gold. There is a hand painted scene of a sailing ship in rough seas. It is expertly portrayed. Condition: There are three tiny surface scratches in the painting. They are not very noticeable.

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in France by Delinieres & Co. Limoges in the 1890s. They measure 9 inches in diameter. The rims are scalloped. The central reserve has hand painted ladies dressed in fashionable Victorian attire. They are framed in ornate raised gold cartouches. There is an artist’s signature, G. Saguel on each plate. The border is a deep cobalt blue with fine lacy gilding over it. The borders on the first two photos look black but they are cobalt blue. The rims are trimmed with gold. These plates are of exceptional quality and are highly decorative. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther before 1920. The plate has a diameter of 10 1/2 inches. It is artist signed by Greiner. The painting was originally done by Paul Reubens and is in a museum in Brussels. This is written on the back of the plate. This painting is among the finest quality produced by companies such as KPM, Royal Vienna and Meissen. Looking at the features on the faces and delicacy of the hands, the artistic ability of this painter is evident. The border is deep cobalt blue. It is decorated with elaborate raised gilding. There is a band of bright gold encircling the portrait. This plate is a magnificent work of art. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain charger or platter was produced in Germany by Donath Dresden before 1920. It has a diameter of 12 1/4 inches. The charger is beautifully hand painted in the Meissen style. There is a bouquet of realistic flowers rendered in vivid colors. Lacy gilding trims the rim. Condition: Excellent. This is a splendid charger for use or decoration.

This glass vase was produced in France in the mid 19th century. We do not know the maker since the vase is not signed. The glass has a lead content and rings when pinged. The vase is hand blown and has a polished pontil. The vase is 13 3/4 inches tall. The diameter of the opening is 6 1/4 inches. The vase is wonderfully hand painted. There is a life-like parrot perched on a branch with his wings out-spread. The tropical greenery around him is painted with fine detail and surrounds the whole vase. Condition: There is wear and losses to the gilded trim on the rims and borders. This vase maintains a marvelous decorative value despite these flaws.

This porcelain 8 piece set of tea for two was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1870s. This is a first quality set. The tray is 17 inches long and 12 inches wide. The pot is 8 inches high. The set is painted with a striking pattern inspired by the Japanese, known as Imari. The colors are vivid and the decoration is bold. There is cobalt blue and iron red accented by shiny gilding. Condition: There is a sizable chip near the rim of the sugar bowl and a tiny nick on the underside of the lid. On the tray, there is a tiny chip on the shell shaped handle that is hardly noticeable. Considering the age and rarity, these defects are minor and may be corrected if desired.

This porcelain compote was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It is a first quality porcelain, hand painted in the factory. It is 8 inches tall and has a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. The compote is made in two pieces and bolted together. The top is cut out or reticulated in a basket weave pattern. All of the cut out segments are accented with gold. The border has cartouches with brightly painted flowers. This decoration is repeated on the underside of the top portion as well. The base has a molded swirl design that is accented with gilding. There are flowers cascading down the base. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain ewer was produced in Germany by Royal Vienna in the 1870s. It is signed by the artist Dressel. There is a title written in German for each painted scene. It is 15 inches tall, 7 3/4 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The porcelain is quite substantial and heavy. There is a large twisted handle with which to pour wine. The ground color is royal blue. There are two reserves enclosed in ornately gilded cartouches. The scenes on each side are superbly hand painted. One scene depicts children fishing and hauling in an abundant catch. The other side has cherubs enjoying fruits of the vine, luxuriously lounging in the woods. The painting is done with exquisite detail. The neck of the ewer has a panorama encircling it. There are children frolicking in the landscape. Around and between these wonderful paintings are bands and borders of fancy raised gilding. This is a most striking and unusual piece. Condition: There is some wear to the gilding on the handle. There are no other defects.

This set of 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers was produced in France by M. Redon Limoges between 1882 and 1896. The saucers have a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cups are 2 1/8 inches high. They are decorated with a factory transfer of bright pink roses and garlands of foliage. The handles and rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: There is barely visible wear to the gilded rims of a couple of the cups. Considering their age, it is very slight.

This pair of porcelain swans was produced in the United States by Lenox between 1930 and 1960. They measure 4 3/4 inches long and 3 1/8 inches high. The porcelain swan forms a little cup like vessel in which to hold nuts or mints. The porcelain is molded in the shape of a swan with graceful neck and defined feathers. It is colored salmon pink. The edges of the wing, tail and feet are accented with gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1950s. It measures 9 1/2 inches high and 6 inches wide. The piece has a glamorous 1950s look. The gentleman has three fingers held up for three kisses from his lady. The group is finely modeled with excellent detail. It is hand painted to give just enough color and definition to the couple. Condition: Excellent

This bisque porcelain figural group was produced in Europe in the mid 19th century. It is not marked and we don't know if it is German or perhaps English. It is 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide at the base. The porcelain is dense and quite heavy for its size. The group is so quaint, with this little girl and her large dog carrying a basket of flowers in his mouth. The piece has a space in the back to hold flowers, so it serves as a vase as well as a figurine. It is well modeled and hand painted. It is full of Victorian charm. Condition: Excellent
