The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The porcelain has designs molded into it. There is a scene on the front of the cup of lovers in a garden. It is surrounded by ornate gilding. There are numerous sprigs of flowers strewn about on both pieces. There are lovely gilded accents and trim. Condition: The bottom of the saucer has a small hairline craze that does not go through to the other side.

This set of 8 porcelain bouillon cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Wolfsohn Dresden in the late 19th century. The porcelain blanks were made by the Ohme Factory in Silesia, Germany and sold white ware to the Wolfsohn factory for decoration. The porcelain blanks are extremely delicate and translucent. They have a swirl pattern molded into them with the saucers being scalloped on the rims. The cups have two handles. The decoration is all hand painted. There are tendrils of flowers alternating with yellow panels. All of the panels are outlined with gold and there are lacy gilded borders in a number of places including inside the rim of the cup. A gilded medallion is in the center of each saucer. These bouillon cups and saucers are a delightful confection for display or use. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Fischern, Bohemia by Carl Knoll in the 1880s. It has the blue under glaze bee hive marking. There is writing in German, “Gesnng u Spiel” or “Singing and Play”. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches. The cup is 3 1/8 inches tall, without the handle with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The ground color and border on the cup are deep cobalt blue. The cup has a panoramic scene of young children enjoying various activities. They are playing musical instruments, playing cards and singing. They are painted in fine detail with bright colors on a gold background. The borders are trimmed with intricate gilding in the Royal Vienna tradition. The saucer is embellished with elaborate, raised gilding. There is a lion’s face on the handle. This is a delightful depiction of children in the early 19th century. Condition: But for a tiny bit of wear in the well of the saucer, this set is excellent.
