This ceramic vase was produced in what was then known as Bohemia at the Turn-Teplitz factory in 1906-07. The artist is identified as Paul Dachel, shown in plate 514, in the book “House of Amphora”. This vase is 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter is 5 3/4 inches. It has four handles connecting the double gourd shape. There are gilded knobs sprouting around the top. A band of metallic gilding contains large enameled flowers and foliage. The body of the vase has a dark bronze-like coloring and matte finish. There are subtle colors and textures combined with a unique shape that makes this vase most attractive. Condition: Excellent

These porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Meissen around 1750. They have the blue underglaze crossed swords mark from this period. The plates have a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. The rims are scalloped and there is a molded basket-weave type border. The plates are about 1 1/2 inches deep. They are hand painted with colorful fruits and flowers. There are butterflies and flower buds dotting each piece. Lacy gilding trims the rims. They are priced individually. Condition: There is wear to the gilding on the rims. There are light surface scratches in the centers. One plate has two glazed-over nicks in the foot ring that occurred in the manufacturing process. Overall, these plates are in fine shape, considering their age.

This pair of porcelain bottles with stoppers was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the late 19th century. They are 5 inches high, including the stoppers. The porcelain bodies have flowers and scallops molded into them. They are hand painted with buttercup flowers and foliage. There is a blue butterfly on each bottle. The molded decorations are accented with gold. It is wonderful to find a matched pair after so many generations. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany in the late 19th century. It has a maker’s mark under the glaze we do not recognize. The plate is 8 1/2 inches in diameter. It has a beautiful reticulated border that is quite elaborate. The center of the plate is painted with a garden scene with lovers under a tree. The painting is expertly done. There is lacy gold trim around the inside of the plate. The reticulated border is painted with vivid flowers and outlined in gold. Condition: There is slight wear to the gilding on the rim.

This porcelain platter was produced in Germany by Hermann Ohme. It was sold white to the Donath Dresden decorating studio in the late 19th century. The platter has a diameter of 11 1/4 inches. The porcelain is molded with deep swirls and has a scalloped border. The center of the platter is beautifully hand painted with a bouquet of flowers. This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Ernst Teichert Dresden around 1884. The mark is blue under glaze. The plate has a diameter of 9 3/4 inches. There is a 1 3/4 inch reticulated border around the plate. The center has a hand painted scene of lovers in a garden. It is surrounded by a cobalt blue border. Elaborate gilding frames the painted scene. The pierced border has panels with flowers alternating with scrolled decorations. It is all outlined with gold. This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by Sontag & Sohne, Tettau, around 1900. It is 7 1/2 inches long at the base, 3 ¾ inches deep and 5 3/4 inches high. The shape and decoration are in the art nouveau style. There is a scene of a Jacobean couple accompanied by a blackamoor and a whippet. It is done in fine hand enameling. A cartouche of embossed gold frames the scene. There are gold accents and the top rim is trimmed with gold. This is a very handsome and unique vase. Condition: There is slight wear to gilded accents on the outer edges of the feet.

This porcelain pot de crème was produced in Austria at the Royal Vienna Factory before 1820. It has an under glaze blue bee hive mark as well as impressed numbers. It is 3 1/4 inches high including the lid. The finial on the lid is in the shape of a flame. It is decorated with hand painted grape leaves that encircle the lid and the cup. The style of the handle and painting are quite similar to Meissen porcelains. There is gold trim on the lid, cup and handle. Condition: Excellent

This three piece demitasse cup, saucer and plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1920. The plate has a diameter of 7 inches, the saucer is 4 1/4 inches, and the cup is 2 inches high. The plates measure 9 7/8 inches inches in diameter. They are decorated with a factory transfer with hand painted accents. They are surrounded by fine, lacy gilding of tiny vines and flowers. These 4 porcelain figurines were produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. They have the impressed shield of Nymphenburg in the base of each piece. The tallest of the figures is 7 1/4 inches high to the shortest one which measures 6 1/2 inches high. They are made of fine white hard paste porcelain with a high gloss glaze. The cherubs are executed in blanc de chine and are very similar to figures produced by Meissen. Each cherub is modeled in fine detail, with attention given to definition of fingers, facial features, the chubby little bodies and the folds in the drapery. Each cherub is engaged in some activity. There appears to be some meaning to each one. Perhaps they represent the months of the year. They are standing on molded pedestals. Condition: Excellent
