This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1930. It has first quality blue crossed swords markings under glaze. The saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep. The set has the traditional wavy borders with points at intervals. The cup features a split branch handle. The set is hand painted in shades of puce. The flower arrangements are executed with precision and excellent artistry. There is lacy gold trim on the rims and gilded accents on the handle. Two sets are available with different floral decorations. Condition: Excellent first quality.

This porcelain bell was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. It has the first quality under glaze crossed swords marking. The bell is 4 inches tall and a diameter of 3 inches. The bell has high relief molded decoration around the border and a handle with a key hole handle. The fine, white porcelain is hand painted with a stylized design of pink flowers known as “Pink Indian”. The design is accented with glittering gilded details. The molded border is trimmed with gold. The clapper is the original wooden clapper. It makes a lovely sound. Condition: Excellen, first quality

This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by the Donath Dresden Studio in the 1890s. It is 9 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches across the handles. The vase has a unique shape with rococo style feet, handles and molded relief. Every inch is filled with delightful details. The front and back panels have hand painted scenes of young lovers in garden settings. They are dressed in 18th century costumes. The opposite panels are painted with iridescent lavender and cream colored reserves. Intricate gilding with lots of raised beads fill the reserves and accent the whole panel. You could not wish for a lovelier piece to accent your home. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain ewer was produced in Germany by Rudolstadt Pottery and Lewis Straus & Sons was the New York distributor. The ewer was produced around 1900. It is 9 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 inches. The porcelain is fine quality with molded details in high relief. There is a medallion in the center of the ewer with a portrait of a young woman. It is framed in elaborate art nouveau style gilding. The gilding is raised and accented with colored enamel beads or jewels. The back of the ewer is also decorated with gilding. The neck and foot of the ewer has additional ornate hand gilding. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain charger or platter was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1860 and 1880. It has the first quality blue crossed swords marking under the glaze. It is 11 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep. There is a 2 inch reticulated border. The center of the charger has a ring of tiny hand painted flowers in pastel colors. Directly in the center is a delicate medallion that looks like a snow flake. In 3 sections of the border are reserves with sprays of pastel colored flowers, surrounded by elaborate gilding. These areas are molded in high relief. The rims have a cobalt blue border. The edge is gilded. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

This porcelain charger or plate was produced in Saxony around 1900. It has a manufacturer’s mark we are not familiar with. The plate measures 10 3/4 inches. The border is hand painted with alternating blue and cream colored squares. The cream colored squares contain hand painted baskets of flowers, framed in raised gold and topped off with a gold heart. The blue squares have scenes of young couples in early 19th century dress, standing in between potted topiary plants with ribbons. There are 6 of these scenes, so colorful, and all different. The plate has a gilded medallion on a blue border, surrounded by a ring of flowers. There is gilded trim and accents with raised beading. The details and workmanship of this plate are positively delightful. Condition: Excellent

The border has a reticulated pattern and there are handles on both sides. The platter has a bouquet of brilliantly colored flowers that were expertly hand painted. There are 4 reserves in the reticulated border with sprays of different flowers. They are framed in hand gilding. There is additional lacy gilding and gold trim on the rim. This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory or KPM in 1925. The date letter indicates this year. The plate has a diameter of 9 ¾”. It has a finely reticulated border, all outlined with gold. The center of the plate is hand painted with a scene of the 13th century fortress at Godesberg, Germany. It is painted in monochrome shades of red rust color. There is a garland of roses encircling the border with gold leaves and stems. The border has a gray band with gold trim. This porcelain coffee/dessert service was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1924 and 1934. It has the dot mark under glaze from the Pfeiffer period at the factory. It is a service for 6 with additional pieces. After Dinner Coffee Pot with lid - 8 ¼” high, 6” from spout to handle. Serving tray – 10 5/8” long, 8 ¾” wide and ¾” deep. Tea Caddy with lid - 4” high, 2 ¼” long, and 1 ½” wide. Sugar Bowl with lid - 3 ¼” diameter and 3 ¼” high. Cream Pitcher – 3 1/8” high and 3 ½” from handle to spout. 6 Dessert Plates - 7” diameter. 6 Saucers – 4 7/8” diameter. 6 Demitasse Cups – 2 7/8” diameter and 1 5/8” high. The set is made of the finest quality porcelain produced in the Western hemisphere. The hand painting is bright and colorful in the Japanese Kakiemon style. There are gilded accents in the decoration. Each piece has some special detail to be noted. The shape of the cups have 12 panels and a flared rim. The saucers have 12 panels to match the cups. The lids on the pot and sugar bowl have flower bud finials. The plates have a slight scallop to their borders but the pattern and gilding match perfectly. It is beautiful set for serving and display. This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in 1917. The date letter indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 6” and the cup measures 3 ¼” high (without the handle) with a diameter of 3 ¾”. The cup features an empire style handle and paw feet. There is a hand painted portrait of Frederick the Great who was king of Prussia from 1740 to 1786. The portrait is very detailed with excellent coloring. A frame of tooled, ornate gilding encircles the portrait. There are wide bands of gold trimming the rims and gold accents on the scrolled handle. This is a wonderful addition for one who appreciates items of historical significance. Condition: Excellent

These 10 porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Koniglich Porzellan Manufactur, or Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer in 1902. There are date letters indicating this year. The plates measure 8 ¾ inches in diameter. They are made of fine hard paste porcelain and have reticulated borders with little ribbons at intervals around the rims. The cut out design is outlined in gold. Just inside the reticulated borders is a band of molded basket weave in relief. The centers of each plate are hand painted with realistic fruits and flowers. They almost make your mouth water. The colors are vibrant. The quality of the painting is nearly photographic. This is what KPM is best known for.

The plate is 9 ½ inches in diameter. It is hand painted with the night goddess holding an owl while suspended on clouds. The hand painting is finely detailed and the coloring is vivid. The border is hand gilded with an elaborate design containing lyres. The plate has similarities to some done by Royal Vienna or KPM. Condition: The gold trim on the outer edge has slight wear.
