This porcelain plate was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. It has a diameter of 8 3/4 inches. It is made of fine, white bone china. The rococo rim is sculpted and enhanced with gilding. The center of the plate and the trim are lemon yellow. There are reserves of white that are framed within raised gold cartouches. The reserves have intricate gilding and tiny orange enamel beads. A lime green border has trailing vines of white enamel flowers and gilded leaves separating the yellow center and rim. The elaborate raised gilding is sumptuous.
Condition: There are 3 slight utensil scratches in yellow center. They are minor and are not easily seen.
