This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The cup features a pedestal base and the saucer has a raised well that raises up to meet the foot of the cup. The set has a luminescent finish in shades of lavender. There are hand painted scenic landscapes on both pieces. The interior of the cup has a Tom turkey, fluffed out in all his glory. The saucer has the hen turkey in her less impressive plumage. You can see the details of the trees and grasses in the foreground. There is beaded gold trim around the rims and a gilded medallion in the well of the saucer. This is a beautiful work of art.
