This 10 piece porcelain game bird set was produced in France by Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & Lehman in the 1920s. Not all the plates are pictured, but the set includes 9 plates and the platter. It is a factory decorated set with under glaze and over glaze marks and a factory artist’s signature. The platter measures 19 inches long, 12 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches deep. The 9 plates have a diameter of 9 1/4 inches. The rims on the plates are scalloped. The rim of the platter is molded and scalloped. Each piece is hand painted with flying game birds such as pheasants, partridges, and mallards. The rims are trimmed with gold. The set is colorful and very decorative.
Condition: Excellent. There is virtually no wear or signs of use.
