Guest Book

This box is silver plate from the United States or possibly England of the Victorian era. The marking on this sewing box is partially obliterated, but we could make out the mark C&W on the bottom. We were unable to identify the marking. It measures 4 inches high, 3 inches deep and 1 7/8 inches wide. The box has 3 drawers. One is marked pins, one for needles and one for buttons. There is a little kitten figure on the top of the box. The silver plate is etched with a decorative pattern on top. It has little ball feet. Condition: Most of the silver is worn off. It could be re-plated if desired. Or, enjoy it just the way it is.
