This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in Germany around 1900 by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer, also known as KPM. The saucer has a diameter of 6 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of the highest quality porcelain, comparable to Meissen. The set is decorated with hand painted, raised gilding. There are bands of leaves and flowers connected with gilded medallions in art nouveau style. The handle on the cup is very specific to the nouveau period. There are gilded accents on the handle and gold trim on the rims.
Condition: The gold trim of the rim of the saucer has slight scuffing. It is not worn. We mention this for accuracy. It is in very good condition.
