This porcelain biscuit jar with lid was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the late 19th century. It measures 6 1/2 inches high and has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches. The biscuit jar is exquisitely hand painted with bouquets of colorful flowers. They are so true to life you can name them all. Tiny insects and butterflies are scattered about the porcelain. There is beaded gold trim and lacy gold accents. This is a wonderful antique porcelain item you will love to display.
Condition: Excellent. We want to mention that the bottom portion under the lid has some gilding that has worn from the lid rubbing on it. This is normal and does not show with the lid in place. It does not affect the display of this piece.
