For the set of 12 plates

This set of 12 porcelain luncheon plates was produced in France by Charles Ahrenfeldt Limoges around 1900. They were produced exclusively for the renowned retailer Ovington’s of New York & Chicago. They measure 8 3/4 inches in diameter. The centers of each plate are hand painted with vibrantly colored flowers. All the plates are artist signed in the center. The rest of the cream colored plates are decorated with elaborate raised gilding. A thin band of brilliant blue and embossed gold finish the edge of these plates. The foot ring on the back of these plates is painted with gold. They deserve a special place to display and enjoy. Condition: Excellent
