For Both Baskets

This pair of porcelain baskets was produced in France by the Marc Eugene Clauss Manufacturer between 1868 and 1896. They measure 6 inches in diameter and are 3 1/2 inches high. The baskets have lovely reticulation and sit on little ball feet. They are decorated in a similar fashion to Dresden. There are sprays of colorful flowers inside. Tiny flowers accent the reticulation inside and outside. They have fine hand gilding and gold trim. How wonderful it is to find an undamaged matching pair. These baskets are a delightful confection of porcelain.
