This porcelain dish was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. It has the underglaze cobalt blue crossed swords marking. The dish measures 7 1/4 inches in diameter and is 2 inches high. It is made of the finest porcelain the Western world has ever produced. The dish has a scalloped edge and embossed basket weave molding. The decoration is known as “Pink Indian” with hand painted pink and raspberry stylized flowers. The design is inside the dish as well as outside. The piece is richly gilded inside and out. Meissen quality and its superb classic design will always be in style. Condition: Excellent, first quality.
