This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory, or KPM, in 1913. This year is identified by the date letter. The saucer is
5 3/8" in diameter. The cup is 3 1/2" high without the handle and has a diameter of 3". The cup is Empire style with sweeping handle and pedestal base. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. There are reserves on both sides of the cup containing colorful, hand painted flowers. They are framed in raised gilded cartouches. There is delicate gilding inside the rim of the cup. The rims and handle are accented with gold. This cup and saucer exhibits grace and classic style.
