This porcelain basket or nut dish was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1900. It is 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep. The basket is open weave with tiny flowers popping through the trellis-like walls like flowers on the vine. These precious little blooms are free formed by hand, each petal and leaf created with painstaking care. There is a colorful spray of flowers hand painted in the center of the piece. The encrusted flowers are all hand painted. All of the basket weave cut-outs are accented inside and out with gold. Condition: Excellent, first quality.
