This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It has first quality crossed swords markings under the glaze. The saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 3/8 inches tall with a diameter of 3 inches. The cup features a graceful, scrolled handle and pedestal foot. The fine white porcelain is hand painted with tiny rose buds scatter around each piece. No two flowers are exactly alike. The inside rims of the cup and saucer are hand gilded with a delicate pattern. The handle is trimmed with gold and there are other gilded accents. This cup and saucer has elegant simplicity. Condition: Excellent, first quality, without flaws of any kind.
