This porcelain service was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer in 1918. They are marked with the red orb, blue scepter and iron cross markings. The pattern is known as Neuzierat. There are a total of 43 pieces. The set consists of an oval serving tray, coffee pot with lid, tea pot with lid, sugar bowl with lid, cream pitcher, and 12 sets of cups, saucers and dessert plates. All pieces are hand painted with sprays of vibrantly colored garden variety flowers. There is elaborate raised gilding and additional gilding inside the rims of the cups. This pattern is no longer produced by KPM. It is difficult to find an entire matching service. This is a remarkable offering of superb quality. Condition: The service is first quality. The cream pitcher has minor chips on the spout. There are no other defects, no evidence of use, or restoration.
