This pitcher was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1888. It is 6 ¼ inches high and 6 inches from spout to handle. The fine ivory porcelain is molded in high relief with a lion’s head for a spout. The handle is in the shape of a lion’s paw. The sides of the pitcher are decorated with daisies that are outlined in gold. Heavy gilding accents other areas of the pitcher. There is a manufacturing defect on the interior of the spout. It appears to be a firing crack. This pitcher is in excellent condition.
