This porcelain dish was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl in 1952. It measures 10 1/2 inches across the handles and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The dish is molded with a fish scale pattern which gives an interesting texture to the porcelain. There are pierced handles in the shape of dolphins. The dish is shaded from light to a deeper blue giving the feeling of water and sky. Hand painted seagulls are in the center of the dish. There is gold trim on the rim and gilded accents within the decoration. This is a fine quality, artistically designed piece of porcelain in excellent condition.
