This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Wedgwood in 1879. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is molded with fans and flowering branches. The cup has a branch for a handle and four ball feet. This set has an oriental style which was popular in the aesthetic period. This form in a cup and saucer is rare and unique. There is some minor wear to the gilded rims, but this is relatively insignificant for such a set. It is in otherwise excellent condition.
