This unique Farsta bowl was selected by Wilhelm Kåge to be exhibited in the Swedish Pavilion during the 1939 World's Fair. The original customs label is totally intact. On the underside is incised Farsta, Gustavsberg, the letter F (date code for 1936), the Gustavsberg mark with the old anchor insignia; stamped is Made in Sweden (partly visible under the customs label). The bowl measures 6 1/4" (16cm) in diameter and is 3 1/2" tall (9cm) tall on a footed base. Mint condition.
