This is a beautiful Japanese silver box handcrafted with dark rose wood. The silver box has a large 3D silver rose with etched leaves, a rose bud, & a raised brown bird. There are some gold highlights on the rose stamens, rose bud, brown bird beaks & eye also on some of the leaves. The box has a minor indentation on the front side of the cover & some minor scuff marks as commensurate with its age & usage. The lid & box are perfectly fitted & it's in excellent condition. The box has a Artist's signature on the lid & it's stamped with the studio mark with 'Jungin' or pure silver on the base
