Very rare Ainu robe of the native peoples of Hokkaido, Japan. Made of 'attush' bark of 'ohyou' elm tree and 'kiribuse' appliqued fabric with embroidery. Museum quality piece for true connoisseurs or collectors. Circa: Meiji Era (1868 - 1912) Excellent antique condition. Please see photos for minor age marks and stains.
