Korean celadon had begun to be made in early 10th century under influence by Chinese. Especially in the early stage the color of celadon was very clear to be comparable to fine Chinese celadon. This work is presumed to have been made in the early stage, examining the color and the shape. It has a small repaired crack at the adoral edge and there is a small part that the glaze does not lay on, near the inside bottom. This tea bawl was excavated in mid 20th century and used as a tea ceremony instrument chawan in Japan. SIZE: 14.0cm(D)/4.6cm(H) ACCESSORIES: BAG, WOODEN BOX
