Mid-Century Danish Modern Round Rosewood Side Tray Table, the four solid rosewood rectangular legs are well supported by the mortise and tenon joined cross struts, the legs are further notched at the top to support a brushed aluminum ring, the removable table top which fits into the metal frame is beautifully veneered with eight pie shaped pieces of rosewood veneer that are butterfly cut to match the striking grain pattern into four heart shapes. The quarter inch thick round glass is a later addition as added protection to the the table top surface. The table measures 21-1/2 inches in diameter and 17-1/2” high, the legs extend one inch larger then the table top surface.
Condition: The table has been professionally refinished and is in excellent restored condition.
