An Antique Qashqai Rug, Shiraz, Southern Persia. A fine wool pile tightly woven with five interlocking rows of large Boteh designs (curvilinear motif with a curled top, resembling both fruit and leaf) in alternating edge colours on a floral foliate ground framed by three flori-form borders. Labels on backside, Restored edges, excellent condition. Measuring: 76-1/2 in. x 53 in. 8 lbs.
