A Distressed Antique Senneh Runner, Northwest Persia. A fine wool pile in Turkish knot on a wool foundation. The design of a double boteh repeat pattern on a dark blue field.The rows of boteh alternate by the direction of the “tails”. The major border of a leaf and blossom design on a white field flanked by the minor borders in a double lozenge and cross design on a brick red field. Labels on backside.
Condition: Distressed, edges and ends worn with losses, significant loss to one end, several worn areas.
Measuring: width ranges from 35.5 inches to 38.5 inches x length ranging from 147 inches to 151 inches (3 - 1 x 12 - 5)
