Our photos don't do justice to these bronze and sterling silver artisan-crafted earrings. The curved bronze crescent shapes are bisected by undulating sterling silver forms. Each earrings is completely hand crafted, with the exception of the sterling screw back mechanisms. Circa 1960s. From the posts to the bottoms, the earrings hang approximately 3". Marked "sterling" on the screw-backs.

Classic sterling and pearl earrings by American modernist Esther Lewittes, circa 1950s. The sterling silver form folds over negative space, from which a single cultured pearl is revealed. Each earring measures approx. 7/8" x 7/8" at the widest point across the bottom. Clip-ons. Signed "Sterling Lewittes" as shown. Excellent vintage condition.

Amazing pendant / brooch by Michigan silversmith John Pagacz, circa 1950s. In sterling silver with three cultured pearls. The two darkened areas in the center are recessed, oxidized to create the patina, and hand detailed with a pattern. The workmanship in Pagacz's work is truly amazing. Unsigned. Has both a loop for a chain, and a pin mechanism so that the piece can be worn as a brooch. Measures a large 2.25" x 1.5. Excellent vintage conditon.

The work of Mid-Century silversmith Ronald Hayes Pearson work is included in major collections at the Smithsonian Institute, the American Craft Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and many other noted museums. This unique necklace is the perfect example of why Pearson is so celebrated, and his rare work so sought after.

Extremely fine triple cased sommerso decanter attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1950s. With a cranberry colored glass core cased inside a layer of vivid blue, cased again inside lavender. The effect of the three layers of colored glass is stupendous. This lovely decanter has a slightly flattened form and stands over 16.25" tall to the top of the stopper. In excellent condition.

Large sterling cuff links, each set with a single amber stone. By the Polish modernist silversmith collective ORNO, circa 1960s or '70s. Each piece measures almost 1.5" long x .75". Marked "ORNO" and with the Polish hallmark for silver. Excellent condition, with one natural amber a slightly different shade than the other.

Circa 1960s "op-art" sterling silver ring with a playful cubist shape. The flattened band holds a cube, the sides of which have cutout circles, the top being a square. The interior of the cube reveals a red/white/blue sphere. Unusual and impossible to ignore. Unmarked. Size 8.5. The cube on top measures 3/8" in diameter from all sides. Excellent vintage condition. Weighs 8.5 grams.

The abstract and intricate design of this ring completely captures 1950s Modernist design. Stamped 585, which indicates 14K gold. However, I am unable to test this ring and am selling it as unknown material. It appears to be sterling, sterling plate, or white gold plate. The pearl appears to be cultured. Size 6.5.

Sculptural sterling cuff bracelet by important North American modernist Bill Tendler, c.1950's. Signed: "Tendler, Sterling." Listed Glendale artist Mary Owens was known for paintings, but she also made jewelry during her career. She died several years ago, and this figural pendant brooch was purchased directly from her estate. It was one of her personal pieces which she made for herself, circa 1950s. Large, at 3" tall. Unsigned but will come with a certificate of authenticity from the City of Glendale's Brand Library, which conducted the sale. Excellent vintage condition.

Striking mid-20th Century modernist sterling and rock crystal Ring by K.E. Palmberg, who was chief designer for the leading Swedish company Alton in the 1950s. Matching bracelet and pendant currently available separately.

The square portion behind the large clear stone is oxidized black, making the crystal to sparkle and glow like crazy. The top portion of the ring measures 6/8" in diameter and stands 3/8" above the ring. Adjustable, but currently a size 6.5. Fully hallmarked as shown...

Not much is known about Industria Argentina, except that they produced exceptionally designed and crafted jewelry in the 1950s and '60s. This weighty silver ring is typical of their purist modernist aesthetic.

Size 6. Marked "Industria Argentina, Buenos Aires," and hallmarked 900 for silver fineness. Quite substantial at 11.9 grams. Excellent vintage condition.

Large and heavy cocktail ring in silver plate, with a large rose quartz cabochon. The top of the ring stands .75" above the thick shank. Maked "J Hull." Currently a size 8, but fully adjustable. In good condition with wear and loss to the silver plating. The rose quartz stone has natural inclusions.

Circa 1950s sterling and amethyst bracelet by important mid 20th Century American silversmith Ed Levin. The thick solid sterling wire each terminates in a flattened, flared shape, each holding a single purple amethyst cabochon.

Signed with the early "Levin, Sterling" mark, indicating that this is a mid 20th Century piece. It currently measures approx. 3" x 2.5", but is adjustable. The top portion is 1.5" wide. Excellent vintage condition.

An unusual late 19th or early 20th Century Italian vase in clear glass with a light dusting of internal gold aventurine, brown inclusions and applied yellow "drapery." Unsigned. Lovely covered dresser box attributed to Artisti Barovier, circa 1920s. In green with applied pink "pasta glass" details and a beautifully crafted purple and green bunch of grapes on the lid. The entire piece is lightly iridescent, making it glow and reflect in the light. This thin and light piece has a snap pontil, and is a rare piece of early Murano glass. Measures approximately 5" in diameter and 3.5" tall. Excellent condition.

Fabulous circa 1920s Murano candlesticks in ruby red, a color rarely seen in early Italian glass. Each candle stick has two applied opaque green glass pears with black stems. The execution and design of this pair is exceptional. In excellent condition. Unsigned. Each just under 10" tall. Note: the photos make the items look as though they are leaning.
