Unusual mid-century modernist organist or brutalist panel bracelet. Clearly handmade and unique, as each panel is different from the next. Wonderful motion and dimensionality, as there are pierces, raised areas and spikes rising from the bracelet. Unsigned, tests as sterling. Measures 7" in length and 5/8" wide.

Bold high-set modernist crystal ring by Swedish designer Gison Liedholm. The setting makes quite a statement, soaring a full 3/4" above the band. Made in the middle of the 20th Century. The stone appears to be a rock crystal. Size 6. Excellent vintage condition. Marked "Handmade, Sterling, Gison Liedholm."

Wonderfully designed cuff bracelet by Henry Steig, a well known Modernist jewelry designer working in New York City in the 1950s. In 1950 he opened a New York City shop at 51st and First, and a summer store in Provincetown, Massachusetts. In 1955 he moved his NYC shop to 52nd and Lexington. The design of this ridgid bracelet is ingenious, as the opening fits over the bulb of your wrist for comfort. Signed "Henry Steig, sterling". Excellent condition.

Very rare & extraordinary sterling silver pendant with a large natural rock crystal sphere designed and produced by Bent & Helga Exner for Hans Hansen in the 1960s. This dramatic, modernist piece is a study in balance and deceptive simplicity. It is large, measuring over 3" tall. The crystal itself is 3/4" in diameter. Very good vintage condition. WIth it's original signed Hans Hansen long sterling chain...

Listed Glendale artist Mary Owens was known for paintings, but she also made jewelry during her career. She died several years ago, and this figural pendant brooch was purchased directly from her estate. It was one of her personal pieces which she made for herself, circa 1950s. Large, at 3" tall. Unsigned but will come with a certificate of authenticity from the City of Glendale's Brand Library, which conducted the sale. Excellent vintage condition.

Outrageous space age, modernist 14K gold ring by Elis Kauppi for Finnish firm Kupittaank Kulta. Circa 1960s or 70s. With three small diamonds. Marked with Kupittaan Kulta Oy's 'anvil' shaped hallmark, and 585 for 14K Gold Purity Mark. Size 7. Excellent condition.

Constructionist brooch by important jewelry maker Sam Kramer, who produced avant-guarde jewelry in his New York based shop in the 1950s. This interesting piece consists of two arked triangular shaped pieces, which move freely on a tall silver bar. This allows the pieces to move up, down, and side to side, but not to move out of the crossed configuration. Corretly signed with Kramer's distinctive mushroom hallmark as shown. Excellent vintage condition...

Structuralist bracelet & earring set by noted modernist Paul Lobel, who produced innovative jewlery in his New York studio in the 1950s. Consisting of ridgid sterling silver links and matching earrings with their original srew-back mechanisms. The bracelet has an integrated hidden hook clasp. Bracelet measures over 7.25" long and the earrings hang 1 3/8." Signed "Lobel, Sterling" as shown. Excellent vintage condition.

Fabulous & fun sterling silver bracelent by MATTI J HYVARINEN for Finnish company SIROKORU. Measures 7 1/2" long x 1" wide. The blue gemstone spheres move freely inside channels, giving the piece incredible kinetic motion. Fully hallmarked, with date stamp V7 for 1974. Excellent vintage condition.

Dramatic handmade Sterling Silver necklace designed by Rey Urban, and made by A. Fausing Denmark c.1960. This extremely sculptural modernist sterling silver collier necklace was designed by swedish silversmith Rey Urban and handmade in Stockholm Sweden and produced for the danish Åge Fausing workshop in the 60s. Very rare. Fully hallmarked as shown. In excellent condition. The necklace measures 7.25" in height, with the interior opening measuring just over 5" tall and just over 4.5" wide.

Striking ethnographically-inspired kinetic modernist earrings by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. The top portion are classic Taxco, but the large dangling loops freely suspended add a fresh, modernist touch, along with the excitement of motion. These are large statement pieces, measuring 1.75' in length. They are not heavy and easy to wear. Original screw-back mechamisms in good working order...

Excellent, elegant circa 1940s necklace by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. Heavy for it's size, this solid liquid silver necklace is constructed of hollow silver bars over seven silver chains of variying lengths. This design is understated, and extremely rare. The shortest chain measures just under 15" in length. The necklace is authentic and bears Spratling's circa 1940s stamp. Excellent vintage condition.

Very unique ring by Sam Kramer, the 1950s New York based jeweler whose "expressive, organic work and surreal workshop, located on West 8th Street in New York's Greenwich Village, paved the way for other mid-twentieth century metalsmiths, and for many more working today" (Toni Greenbaum). I believe this might have been a custom piece made for a musician, as I can't find anything quite like it in the literature or online...
